Dumb and dumber

So Jordan Springer was suspended for 10 days because she wasn't striking the horse down the lane? What happens if the trainer told her not to do it?
That seems pretty comedy.... |
If you get ten days for having a 3 length lead at the 1/8th pole and getting nipped without going to the whip ... Brittany Arturburn would have a month of suspensions.

I like Guillot saying that he isnt a cheater. You are from the crookedest racing jurisdiction in the country and your horse just got a positive for Winstrol. There is zero chance of it being "environmental contamination" unless she has been hanging around Golds Gym. There are lots of things that can get into a horses system by mistake, Winstrol isnt one of them. |

from what I understand there is a lot of pressure on Guillot to win, his Southern Equine horses have underperformed and is in danger of losing them. |
She deserves every bit of the 10 days if not more. She thought she had the race won. She was looking over her shoulder at the top of the lane and thought the race was won. She got caught sleeping at the wheel. It was very much like that race with Rail Trip earlier when he nearly got caught at the wire.

There is a lot of pressure on all of us to win. That doesnt mean we break the rules. The Guillot/Southern Equine marriage was doomed from the start for one big reason... |

What is the penalty in CA for aggressive whipping?

Doesthis mean the "Sarge" is going to be the listed trainer for Southern Equine? |
No need to. It's burning up right now on its own.

Agreed, in fact I can think of 50 other states that should go before California. I'll take fire and earthquakes to gladly not have to live anywhere else in the Country. |

... What about having a steroid ravaged Austrian crap actor for a gov? What about synthetic race tracks? What about paying for services with friggin IOU's? What about the fact you house West Covina ... the breeding ground of IC, Scuds, and Aaron Gryder .. talk about a triple crown of suckitude. ... Is Erie not sounding so much better? |

"Dan Haren Sr., retired executive director of a Southern California Boys and Girls Club, passed along his love of baseball to his son. Every weekend they would go to the field across the street from their home in West Covina, Calif., even if Haren would just as soon have been with friends. "He told me, 'You'll thank me someday,' " Haren recalls. "The ironic part about it is we would go over there and hit the whole time, not pitch, but I think the work ethic was really instilled on me." |
