Mint Lane won at odds on last year...In '06 Strong Contender won and Da Stoops came in from out west but not sure if he hit the board or not.

It is a weak field, and so too is the Suburban but both are good betting races and thats all that really counts. If you want quality, turn on Wimbledon and watch what promises to be a historic final on Sunday morning (Fed & Murray).
|
The Suburban can't possibly be as speed laden as it looks on paper, can it?

Interesting Samhoon is entered here as well as that race on Friday against Discreet Traseure for 1/4 the money, where he is not up to be claimed. My gut tells me Samhoon will try the Suburban, making that race on Friday very unbettable. |

Anyone think that Kensei will appreciate the added ground?
On another note, I was watching the replay of the Woody Stephens last night and had to rewind (many times) the part when they were coming off of the turn onto the straight. It looked like Munnings was going to drop to the tail of the pack, until he SHOT through the opening hole. A SERIOUS move. Any idea what he'll go off as in the Tom Fool? |

I thought Fluke is running in the suburban

It's probably getting old by now, but here goes.
Did Finallymadeit have a prep race for the Suburban? |
Saturday: Masala and Samhoon
Sunday:Munnings |

what's with him and the 1post on these certain biased configurations?? He's had a ton of chances this year... hell a ton of races;) |
I know these races got understandably derided when first posted here but they are all quite competitive and offer a number of good wagering opportunities.

how long has edward p. evans been running things? I've only noticed for like the past 6 months...

The Prioress has to fall apart with all that speed...I think three horses have a shot in there, Luster, Be Fair, and On the Menu, the only horses who have ever shown any ability to rate and pass horses in the stretch.
|
Anyone still believe It's a Bird is knocking on the door to the upper eschelon of the division?
Nice picking Calvin. |

I'm not much of a Warrior's Reward fan, but the race is a toss.

He lost. Again. That automatically means it's a toss. Keep all wins, toss all losses.

Its too bad. I would have bet Driven to Success to win even if FS stayed in.
Was looking at maybe as high as 4/1...now DTS becomes the obvious favorite at probably around 1/2 or 3/5...and on paper looks like he cant lose, but you know how these things turn out. |
