You, too. I'm really just waiting until Thursday. Going to actually head to the track -- Belmont, Churchill, Hollywood, Pimlico, Calder, and a few others are running. I haven't looked yet but I'm sure there is bound to be a few good races that day.

philcski 05-18-2009 01:09 PM

del r3, don't like the 2nd choice at all having never gone two turns and drawn outside. The tri could pay nicely with her out.

2/3,5,8 $5 exacta key, $2 tri key

I'll look primarily at Belmont and Churchill, most likely, and then sneak a few bets in at the other tracks.

thx, pd ok at $28, so got back $70, good race riding by Napravink cost me the triple.

philcski 05-18-2009 01:22 PM

good race woodbine race 4, like the 4 going back to turf and the 6 is overbet relative to his ability longer than 7f, so going to try to beat him in the exacta.

$20 win 4
$5 exactas 4/1,3,5 1,3,5/4

+$121.75 on day.

5th race is really tough, but i think it's a good spot to start a pick 3, because there's two i like in the 6th.

philcski 05-18-2009 02:32 PM

Del Park R6, think the 3 is overbet here and the 12 has a shot at a price- has better early speed than it looks and the drop may get him into the winners circle.

$25 win 12

$3 exactas 12/3,6,7,9 3,6,7,9/12

No bueno. Was worried about getting hung wide and that was the case- but he wasn't good enough anyway. +72.75 on day.

7th race, really like the 6 at 6-1. Draw a line through the slop race and look who he's beaten a total of 6 lengths by, Everyday Heroes who won the Hirsch Jacobs going away and Silver Edition who should have won the Md BC. Not going to get tricky here with exotics.

$40 WP 6

Brutal. He did everything right except get nosed on the wire by a POS Dutrow juice job. P4 would have paid $1000 through him, even with the layup Pletcher winning the last leg.

I thought the 1 would pressure the 2 more than he likes. He's off form right now and even a return to Delaware hasn't helped.

philcski 05-18-2009 04:06 PM

Woodbine race 9, simple price play. The 1,2, and 5 are all equal IMO but I'm getting 9/2 on the 2? Mine.

Lost a buck fitty on the transaction. +$480.15 on the day.

Going bombing at Indiana Downs R3. There's only 4 horses in here with proven turf ability, and they're 11-1, 23-1, 8-1, and 5-1. Which one am I betting? :)

Indiana Downs race 4, the 6 looks very tough off the Cal form and first result over the track. Think there's value in the exacta pools though- even the shortest exacta (6-2) is still $18.

The Mountain is my nemesis, but let's go for it.

Had the right idea in the PRM race boxing with the winner, but couldn't get by for 2nd. -50, +523 on day.

Back to big money Indy Downs, R7, not sure why they're pounding the hanger Chestermite but I'll take easily the best horse in the field at 3-1.
