Pac v. Hatton

We have another great event tomorrow.
Pac-man really looks good in training.

It would help boxing immensely if Pac won
and then took on Pretty Boy Floyd coming
out of retirement. Would break all PPV records imo.

I will take Hatton in this fight.
I will assume that the ref will allow holding and inside
fighting. Pac-man has no idea what it is like to be backed
up. I think he might taste getting backed up and bullied.
If this gets into late rounds, and Hatton continues to move forward,
(as he has in every fight) he wins. But I dont think Hatton
gets a decision with Floyd waiting, and that worries
me in picking Hatton.

If Pacman gets to him early and often. I believe he can
put Hatton down. Despite the fact he beat a horrible
Oscar, I really think the guy is actually faster as he
gets bigger.

What really convinces me that Hatton can win is that
he was very good against the fastest fighter, maybe ever imho...
Floyd Mayweather.
Hatton actually piled on him early, but Floyd
was just way too crafty and fast, and the result was a late KO.
Hatton has faced the best. Pac-man will now face a very
good stronger fighter still in his prime.

I might actually pay for this.

Might actually be worth the $ versus the crappy

Some weekend drunks down the street are watching.
Last fight with them was amusing.
Maybe...
Nah.

Pacman KO's Hatton

End of 2nd round.
Hatton came to fight.
Walked right into huge punches.

Wow.

This kid might be hurt bad, very bad.

Eric

ELA 05-02-2009 10:46 PM

He's conscious now, recovered. It looked bad there for a few minutes.

Hatton just walked right into it.
Huge punch.

ELA 05-02-2009 10:48 PM

I watched the fight. Now I have enough time to watch the replay, LOL.

Next up.

What in about 8 months after Floyd gets done
with Marquez...

Floyd v. Pacman

Huge.

You will now witness some very clean, crisp, huge punches.
MAN...

ELA 05-02-2009 10:52 PM

Yeah, well see about what is next.

Hatton, who is a tough guy, was out before he was even going down. It didn't look good. Hatton was unconscious and when they rolled him on his side he was not in good shape, unresponsive, etc. You heard one of the ring people say something about an ambulance.

Thankfully he's up and appears OK. Let's hope all is OK.

I thought this was $50?

It's funny, I had a group of people e-mailing each other with up to the minute links of the stream. A few do the IM thing. LOL.

70 bucks here.
I have no idea how I caught such a good stream.
I thought they would all get shut down.
All for a whole six minutes of destruction.

It was worth the look around. Pacman can flat out
load up even at the higher weights. I mean the guy
punches even harder. And he started at about 110 lbs.
Amazing athlete. Absolutely amazing.
Heavyweights in two years... jeez.

Coach Pants 05-02-2009 11:43 PM

That was brutal.

booner 05-03-2009 07:14 AM

Amazing display from Pacman. His quickness is unbelievable. Hatton was overmatched from the get-go.

Undercard showcased some good up-and-comers in the middleweight division. Mat Korobov is a beast. Daniel Jacobs finally got the tough fight he needed. These two will give this division some attention not long from now.

Cant believe he is fighting Marquez in his comeback fight. That will be his toughest test yet.

I hope Marquez knocks his block off.

Better than Cotto or even Mosely.
I think the PBF camp actually fears these
guys. Marquez is not that fast and a late round
counter puncher imo. He does not catch fast guys
early.
I have to think the PBF camp thinks he can
just dance around him and pop him to a decision.

No doubt.
He is one of those Mexican Boxers
that is really tough.

Did you see his fight with Pac-man?
Marquez is an extremely tough guy
and late in fights he gets better.

I think the bigger guys, Cotto and Mosely
could actually hurt PBF. They dont think
Marquez can. Mostly because he is smaller.

Earl has the monkey, Chip bangs the stuffed dog

Hey it was $9 per minute, what a bargin!

Seattleallstar 05-03-2009 06:59 PM

what should also be noted is that Pacman does this without any contempt for his opponent, nor does he have some crazy mean streak. That is very commendable in this sport. Let's his fighting do the talking. The Mayweather fight will be very hard to make because of greed on both sides, provided he gets by Marquez. A third fight in the trilogy of pacman and marquez is the 2nd best match to put out there.

At this point I wouldnt be surprised if Pacquiao were to KO Wlad Klitchsko

Seattleallstar 05-03-2009 07:06 PM

for the record the fight was 49.99 in most outlets I suppose.
