Conversation between my girlfriend and me when she saw DrugS avatar as I was browsing around this website lastnight:

Her: Why do you call yourself The Indomitable Drugs?

Me: I don't. My name here is justindew. Drugs is another guy.

Her: Wait. What? Why is the picture I took of you next to his name?

Me: Because....it just is.

Her: Did you send it to him?

Me: No. I suspect he found it on the Derby site or Road To The Roses.

Her: So, why did he put it next to his name?

Me: Where are we going for dinner?

Her: I'm cooking. Justin, why did some man named Drugs take your picture and put it next to his name?

Me: I'm not exactly sure. I think he's trying to be ironic.

Her: What's ironic about taking someone's picture and putting it next to your name?

Me: Because a number of the people who post here don't think I deserve to have a blog on the Derby site. So he's sort of taking a jab at me.

Her: Do you know him?

Me: No.

Her: Does he know you?

Me: No.

Her: So he's a giant douche then?

Me: Well, I don't know. I've never met him. I'm not even sure Drugs is a he.

Her: You don't have a picture of anyone next to your name, do you?

Me: No. I have a Japanese flag.

Her: Why?

Me: Long story.

Like anyone here believes you have a girlfriend.

Granted, they are a generous group, but there are limits.

The last Ranger game I went to was when Probert beat the holy snot out of Domi at the garden. Was when Probert was on Detroit. What a fight. The roof almost popped off the building when they got on the ice. Was like 2 min into the game. I think they each threw about 200 punches. Probert destroyed him.

This is the funniest dialogue that I've heard of in along time. I can only imagine what was going on in her mind as she is asking you all these questions.

Anyone who hasn't seen the music video "Umbrella" by Rihanna, go see the part where she's covered in silver paint, then look back at the picture of Justin in DrugS avatar. You'll have a 'whoa' moment.

Probert virtually always destroyed Domi, yet Domi would cruise around with his stupid Freddie Mitchell belt routine with that crap-eating grin on his face. God, did I hate Tie Domi, but not quite as much as I still hate Claude Lemieux, one of the greatest cheap-shot artists in the last 30 years of professional hockey.

Ulf Samuelsson pretty much ended the productive portion of Cam Neely's career and sent him into Dumb and Dumber, which was probably more productive for him as a human being anyway.

I think Lemieux and Domi are a lot different. At least Domi would drop the gloves with just about anybody. Lemieux was just annoying as hell out there and would NEVER fight. Reminds me of Sean Avery, a whole lot of talk but refused to back it up. But I can see why you hate Domi, unless he is on your team, he isn't very likeable. Lemieux is trying to get back in the NHL right now. Apparently he thinks he still can play.

Ulf Samuelsson was a scumbag. The tripod on skates. His claim to fame was kneeing/cheapshotting guys as they skated by. The "knee" on Neely was one of many he did. When Ulfie did once in a while drop the gloves, he always got the snot beaten out of him. For a bigger dude he was a giant pu#sy.


If you want to see a sick fighter, go watch some youtube videos of Glen Cochrane. He came up with the Flyers when they had Clarke,Kelly, Holmgren, Hoyda, Bridgman. What a sick team. Cochrane was probably the toughest in that crew.

Not really...Here is the complete archive of fights between the 2, though I give Probert the slight edge, Domi got his especially when the league starting coming down on Probert for losing his jersey which gave him a distinctive advantage in fights. Notice how he no longer destroys guys when he is forced to keep his jersey on. For this reason I think his reputation as the NHL's toughest fighter was grossly overrated.

For the record I would put Dave Brown on my list as one of the top if not top fighter in NHL history.
