scuds

Kershaw, Scuds. Kershaw.

SCUDSBROTHER 04-16-2009 01:43 PM

Yea, was nice effort, but then Kung Pao n' Burrito came in to fk it up. Team was lucky be able to come back to get that win. We are a much different team with O Dog in that dugout. Kent out... O DOG in with vigor,yo (a beautiful thing.)

SCUDSBROTHER 04-16-2009 07:32 PM

+150 is pretty good odds tonite on the Giants. Stults pitched well last start, but (for some reason) it seems like he doesn't pitch two good ones in a row very often. If he doesn't have it, then we're dead, cuz our middle relief seems to be our achilles. I know the Giants are gunna be tough on us in Frisco. Dodgers in town is Frisco's best porn.

Cannon Shell 04-16-2009 08:27 PM

Kershaw Scuds. 13ks. 21 years old. Kershaw Scuds....

You still on da fkn dope? Lets see if he can do it against a team that's not struggling offensively. If he ever gets his pitch count down, he can get thru 8.

SCUDSBROTHER 04-16-2009 09:48 PM

Giants playing D like they're on dope.

Has only given up 3 hits(all season,) but doesn't have a win yet. This is what happens when you throw 105 pitches in 5 innings, and even when you throw 105 pitches in 7 innings. We (evidently) don't have any bridge to get to Broxton right now. Broxton looks like he might have lost a quarter of a cow or so(miracle.)

Cannon Shell 04-16-2009 10:39 PM

Torre will burn a hole in his middle relief guys too. Kung Pau probably threw too much last year especially after he missed time with arm trouble

SCUDSBROTHER 04-16-2009 10:45 PM

Stults got through 5, but looks done(Aurilla blasted one back at him that could easily of cost him another run.) Now what? See? No bridge. 1 run lead with three innings to get to Broxton. Zito got a 2nd wind.

SCUDSBROTHER 04-16-2009 10:49 PM

LOL..BIG BROTHA gunna try.

MaTH716 04-17-2009 06:23 AM

Oh my God, what has this world come too. Scuds actually can't wait till the Dodgers get to Broxton. I'm guessing he lost some of his female properties.

So far.(I FKN REPEAT) So, far. Looked like a man against the Cubs, too. Phillies made him shake n' put da fkn sun dress on.

SCUDSBROTHER 04-18-2009 12:41 AM

USED BROXTON FOR 5 OUTS.....BEE BEE...BEE BEE...JUNK...BEE BEE..BEE BEE

Gunna have to do something about the set up spot. Kuo can't do it (boy ain't right.)

goingtothewhip 04-18-2009 05:23 AM

Big John, big bad John...... :tro:

SCUDSBROTHER 04-18-2009 06:09 PM

7 in a row. We don't even have our best starter. Yes, if you do what that guy did to make the ball dance in game 3 against the Cubs, and then start the only game we won in the NLCS....You're the ace(until someone else matches that.)

SCUDSBROTHER 04-19-2009 03:52 PM

Big Brotha has already thrown 50 pitches in 2 innings. Should just forget about him starting. Just a middle reliever for now(Lurch is a work in progress)

SCUDSBROTHER 04-19-2009 04:03 PM

Gunna name my next dog "O".......I mean this guy has done all kinds of clutch stuff to help this team. This has been a pretty laid back bunch, and this guy ain't having any of that.

SCUDSBROTHER 04-19-2009 05:28 PM

11-0 in the 5th. Good time to be a Dodgers Fan. Be nice if they can continue to play over .500 on the road.

SCUDSBROTHER 04-21-2009 07:37 PM

He's 21 Scuds, be patient

Gaelic Storm 04-22-2009 06:58 AM

Does the bounce apply to baseball. Big effort from Kershaw followed up by a bad one. They should have given him more time off between starts. Larry Jones probably would have trained him up to the playoffs.

I wonder if anyone has ever done any research on that, seriously. A lot of work has been done with pitch counts and the negative effects but I dont recall ever hearing about big efforts with normal pitch counts.

SCUDSBROTHER 04-22-2009 09:51 PM

Dodgers suck when they go to Houston. That's the biggest factor. St. Louis n' Houston are Dodger graveyards.

dalakhani 04-22-2009 10:04 PM

On another note, have you guys watched this kid grienke pitch?

No, but evidently was amazing again tonite.

SCUDSBROTHER 04-26-2009 07:04 PM

The pitcher mentioned in the 1st entry of this thread has now got an era of 7.29..........You have put a massive pox on this child.

SCUDSBROTHER 04-29-2009 01:16 AM

Watching Andre Ethier play all the time is amazing. Overall, he has some of the best at bats you'll ever see. He can fall behind 0-2, and then the guy puts on a show. Takes anything out of the strike zone, and fouls off the good pitches that are strikes. Finally, he will usually get a walk, or a pitch he can drive somewhere. Of course, Manny just knocks the good pitches into the outfield. Loney is not quite as good at the plate as Ethier, but he's pretty good. The rest pretty much need the pitcher to make mistakes. Ethier is a lot better player than he showed in the post last year. Hopefully, he can handle it better the next chance he gets. Furcal threw a guy out at the plate tonite with an absolute strike from shallow center. Needs to hit better though(seems to need home cooking.) Swinging way too hard.

SCUDSBROTHER 05-01-2009 02:35 PM

So, Cannon, any predictions on which Kershaw will show up tonite? BTW, BLOND STICK FIGURE named Weaver came from out of the past last night to save us when Big Brotha had to leave in the 2nd inning (HEADCASE SEVERE.) Weaver actually had some great movement on his stuff. What was it 2 1/2 years ago he was pitching St. Louis to a ring? Now he come up from Albuquerque to give us a 3 1/2 game lead(instead of 1 1/2. Would seem like somebody with skillz could look at videos, and figure out what this guy needs to do to stay in the bigs. Maybe he wears down, but I think it's mechanics.
