Wow... just wow. Maybe the best film I've ever seen.

Will Smith is amazing. Go see this movie and be prepared to be moved.

I saw it this afternoon. I gave it 4 KGB's out of 5

just saw it... it was interesting

There must have been a ton of nudity!

None to speak of really.

I actually thought Rosario Dawson was amazing in the movie and the only reason I like it as much as I did. Will Smith's character was ok and parts of the plot were painfully predictable.

Going to see Frost/Nixon today..looks good

Best movies of the year (in my opinion):

Slumdog Millionaire

Seven Pounds was pretty good. Certainly a very touching story. Rosario Dawson made the movie for me. That's a beautiful woman. I spent the night drooling over her while my wife did the same over Will Smith.

It's funny how beauty ( and I'm talking about the movie, not the actors) is in the eye, etc. Talked to two people who saw it today and both were almost angry at how much they hated it. Manipulative, phony...very strong emotions against. I know Phil thought it was as good as anything he's seen..guess it's a personal thing.

Frost/Nixon..IMO perhaps, was outstanding

I've heard The Wrestler is FANTASTIC.

I just heard that though. It hasn't been released here. ;)

Mickey Rourke is incredible in that movie. The director, i think, is the same guy that did Requiem for a dream. You can figure the tone of the movie based on that.

They had the trailer for that...hard to believe it's Mickey Rourke, and yeh..it looks really good

don't know anything about it, but any movie with marisa tomei gets a thumbs up from me.


Movies that elicit emotion (positive or negative) tend not to do very well at the box office, so I think they hold a lot of them back. but IMO they are much better overall than movies where everyone says "i kinda liked it"

Knowing I'll never see it, I googled "What is Seven Pounds surprise ending?"...Will not give it away, but interesting premise, I have to admit

Surprise ending??? A trained chimp could see the ending coming a mile away in that movie.

Really??...So wasn't as good as Sixth Sense I guess

On the topic of movies...Adam Sandlers new movie "Bedtime Stories"...the little girl that plays Bobbi in that movie is actually Laura Ann Kesling and that would make her daughter to Danielle Ammacapane of the LPGA Tour. Just a little piece of trivia you may not have known..or cared to know, but now you do know:)
