The Browns

Am I the only one that thinks this smells of an upset? These are the games they sometimes come in and really play well.

I think they'll beat the spread and maybe win.

Mortimer 10-13-2008 05:13 PM

Are you insane??!!??

Coach Pants 10-13-2008 05:14 PM

If I take the Giants the score at halftime will be the Browns 20 Giants 7. Anderson will have touchdown throws of 82 and 43 yards due to a Giants reciever taking money to blow coverage.

Mortimer 10-13-2008 05:23 PM

They barely beat Cincinnati without Palmer....the offense struggles every game...they have been pathetic ...Romeo is going insane.....he is insane....the defense ----oh forget it.

TheSpyder 10-13-2008 10:02 PM

I guess it's just me...and the the Brownies! Go baby go!

Mortimer 10-13-2008 10:03 PM

You make me sick..too.

The Bid 10-14-2008 04:52 AM

Dominating

There is noway Crennel came up with that gameplan!

Even Edwards didnt drop anything

horseofcourse 10-14-2008 11:51 AM

good times...3 weeks in a row without a loss!

GPK 10-14-2008 12:11 PM

You wanna talk about fan dedication? I have a buddy of mine here in Roanoke that is also a golf pro. He and his wife have season tickets to the Browns. They drive to EVERY home game. It's over 430 miles EACH WAY from Roanoke to Cleveland:zz:

Hey painted his SUV Brown and even has the stripe down the middle:wf

Wow. Now that is dedication. 430 miles each way? I bet they were second guessing themselves earlier on in the year as to the worthiness of that drive. The offense SEEMS to have turned the corner, and will even look better once Winslow gets ready for 'war'.

yeah....each way!!! It's insane...but his wife loves the Browns just as much. We played golf together 2 months ago and he was telling me the whole ordeal/timeline of everything that is involved.

I wouldn't drive 430 miles each way to get laid...much less watch a damn football game:)

MaTH716 10-14-2008 12:26 PM

That is definitley dedication. It must be a fun drive, especially in the dead of winter  . I do wonder how long he has been married.

Hell, I barely want to go to Giants stadium because of the ongoing constuction.

Good call.

Mortimer 10-14-2008 01:10 PM

I must give a butterfly netful of fine work kudos to Spydah.

He had the courage to make that ridiculous prediction.

As you can see,I'm still in denial.

I now question the reliability of the sun rearing its ugly, sallowed fat face every morning.I now look with a jaundiced eye upon the betability of Curlin' beating the dickens out of Wig,Brown.Does the Earth really spin---or is everything else spinning around us? Will night really be dark?

As I look back...I think the seal of doom was applied when Dala Doo Dah wished 2 certain posters good luck in the Dildo III thread.......and took the Browns.

Spydah...great ,great courageous prediction.....but it will take sometime for you to unseat the greatest jinx of all time;Dala Doo Dah.

And now I must go to the barber for a bleeding so that I may fall into a coma for several days.

TheSpyder 10-14-2008 01:29 PM

Thanks all. Being a Browns fan from the Jim Brown era, it's nice to see that last night. It's been a long time since we've really had something to brag about and although it's just one win, hopefully they can finish stong. A long way to go, for sure.

Morty, I called Japan and the sun is coming up there so give it some time...

viscount26 10-14-2008 02:02 PM

Whats even better, is that 176 people in my suicide pool, didn't take Spydees advice

Big game against the Ravens could decide their fate.

Look at the Steelers schedule.

;)

Mortimer 10-27-2008 01:12 PM

look At The Fridge

Mortimer 10-27-2008 01:13 PM

...now look at you...

Mortimer 10-27-2008 01:13 PM

...now look at me...

Coach Pants 10-27-2008 01:15 PM

I'm telling you Morty...

The Steelers are a fragile bunch of savages. Look at how many injuries they have already. Look at how ignorant their defense plays.

Baltimore? Please. Their defense is getting old. And the offense is mediocre at best.

The Browns can go 10-6 and win the division.

Coach Pants 10-27-2008 01:19 PM

Actually they can go 9-7 and beat the Steelers in the season finale.

The Steelers next 3 games

@ Washington
Indianapolis
San Diego

There is a possibility they can lose all 3

Browns next 3

Baltimore
Denver
@ Buffalo

Buffalo is absolutely terrible. They can't stop the run and the quarterback is a plant.

TheSpyder 10-27-2008 01:21 PM

Funny you should say this.

A-HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I'm kidding.

But I was a person who thought this years schedule would make 8-8 a fair or even slightly rosy expectation.

Last night I looked at the remaining sched and thought.....could be 9-7 or even 10-6.

My only concern now is the propensity for the oc to fall in love with the pass for no apparent reason. With Mr. Bizarreo at qb and Dr. Strangehands as his main target..this is scary.

Please..there is no more dog pound.

That went away with the real fb stadium.

TheSpyder 10-27-2008 01:23 PM

Yea, but Browns have history against Denver and not sure they've gotten over it. They should have beat Washington.

I hope they turn it around. Looked like Quinn might have gotton in yesterday and hope he does

Coach Pants 10-27-2008 01:26 PM

Oh golly-gee. Not Quinn.

Mortimer 10-27-2008 01:29 PM

There's a strong Quinn loving faction here.

They see his face in a different way.

I just want us to run more---that's all.

I especially adored your use of the CrownClub.

And your slogan brings back so many fond memories of DuckTown.

I speak of Fleet Ave,...of course.

They just didn't come any easier than that.

If you couldn't score there----you couldn't score anywhere.
