Seen them at the Palladium in NYC late 70's, they played 2112, Cygnus X-1 , Closer to the Heart , Bastille Day etc. Was right up there with the Floyd ! :zz:

I'm on a roll, I'm on a roll, this time, I feel my luck could change
Kill me Sarah, kill me again with love, it's gonna be a glorious day
Pull me out of the aircrash, pull me out of the wreck, cause I'm your superhero
We are standing on the edge
The head of state is calling my name but I, I don't have time for you
It's gonna be a glorius day, I feel my luck could change
Pull me out of the aircrash, pull me out of the wreck, cause I'm your superhero
We are standing on the edge, we are standing on the edge

We are standing on the edge

Each one of us now gets to nominate a video other than one they submitted, as the best live concert performance ever. From these nominees, a poll will be conducted

I have only looked at the first response, the Iron Maiden stuff and that wasn't a live concert performance, just an audio track.

I would like to think each voter views all the suggested entries

TheSpyder 09-12-2008 01:14 PM

For Coach..something more recent;

Here's one vote for U2 at LiveAid, thanks, GbBob

magic_idol 09-12-2008 02:11 PM

1 for Daft Punk

http://www.youtube.com/user/daftpunkalive?ob=1

Mike 09-12-2008 02:26 PM

I reviewed them all, at least for the most part. The U2 was the only one I like dat all. It does not mean the other songs sucked, but this particular performance was no more impressive than any other from this band

GBBob 09-12-2008 02:30 PM

If I could have found a video of The Who doing Magic Bus at Live at Leeds, I would have posted that...historically considered one of the greatest live shows ever and that song is a killer on it

TheSpyder 09-12-2008 02:38 PM

I thought that brain cell was dead...that's for reminding me...what a great tune!
