when he said in the primary that he won't wear a flag pin to prove his patriotism, or put his hand over his heart during the pledge, and now he wears the pin all the time and ends his speeches with the obligatory God Bless America.

when he said sex ed for kindergartners is the right thing to do.

well, interesting in that he's always said he's not a muslim. imo it doesn't matter what religion you are-we're not a theocracy. i don't know what to say. you'd hate to think the guy has been lying all this time about his religion-is he? has he? or did he misspeak? which might be hard to believe....
i can guarantee tho that it matters to a lot of people, whether he is a muslim. all the denials all this time, and now he sticks his foot right square in his mouth. i can bet his handlers are having synchronized heart attacks.

its an odd thing about me, i never found anything funny about Cheney accidentally shooting his friend in the face. sure there have been stupendous gaffes by Bush, and they were fair game and funny, but nobody ever touted Bush as being brilliant at anything either, like the Obama idolization that we have seen.

but i never find humor in people getting hurt or sick or having accidents, regardless of what I think about their politics.

i don't know. maybe before the interview he was stressing to himself not to say it, and there it was. who hasn't done that? it's really bizarre. and i would feel really dumb if after all these months of telling people 'no, he's not a muslim-why would he lie?' i come to find it's true.

He did spend some grade school in Indonesia, which is the largest Muslim country on earth. Maybe thats where he got it. Seems like a slip up made because it has been said it in the past.

Obama claims to want an end to the old-style politics, and "stale tactics to scare the voters", yet he keeps running around saying that John McCain is out-of touch because he thinks the middle class is anyone making under 5 million. Thats a blatant distortion of a joke McCain made. Obama has been called out on it by The Washington Post but he is still using the lie in ads.

But he has made it very clear his Christian faith

Obama being a Muslim is far down the reasons not to vote for him. Political parties aside, I still believe that there are too many racist people in this country that will go out of their way to vote against a black guy with a Muslim name for him to win by anything but a slim margin. The truth is if you dont live in one of the swing states your vote hardly matters anyway.
