Its a bit late notice but Del Mar is their usual contest. Anyone playing? If so what are your standings?

I'm playing, only 1 winner the first 3 days, no bankroll yet. I will keep at it though. :p

Well, for me it's been a tough few days as well, but as of today I am in the black. Went with Rebellion today and lost my you know what! :p
Not far up in the standings but hopefully I will hit a big one on the next few days. Good Luck to both of you in your wagers! :)

I've spread my wagers today with Rush with Thunder and Mr. Katz..Hopefully it will be a profitable one especially if the 5 horse comes out on top.

I'm going with Awesome Gem to w/p as well as $20 on Porto Santo to place. He's been working well and I beleive won at Del Mar last year. We'll see.

If I would have remembered to put the pick in I wouldn't have lost, but since I forgot I just lost ranking. But I made that up with a win this evening. :)

I did get a pick already in for tomorrow. Monday's contest is in Race 3, I'm going with Bro Lo, may not be much of a price, but hope he can get the job done. Good Luck.

I went with him in the place and show spot($10 & $20) but the main pick to win for me was Forest Phantom with $40.00. I threw $30.00to place as well on Cost of Freedom. Have a hard time just picking one horse so I usually spread it out a bit. I don't have access to the P.P's so I just read what Ellis Starr says most of the time :rolleyes: Shooting in the dark most of the time.

I too liked Brian, but had to put most of my "allowance" on "One on the House"...Not sure if he can go this far, but liked his last work and love Bejarano/Walsh angle.
