TVG: Do Not Change Anything
TVG: Do Not Change Anything.
Here Are some recent Changes TVG has made: *Blocking of Full Pick 4 Tickets for Viewers *Cancellation of Monday & Tuesday Studio programming and The Finish Line *Lack Of Live Races, especially NYRA races If this does not change, I would support any boycott of using TVG Wagering Services & Programming! http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/TVG2008/index.html |
I laughed.

I don't understand.....So they are not showing them on air anymore?

i saw this yesterday, they give a partial ticket only, blocking out one leg so that you have to sign up on tvg.com in order to get the "mystery" leg.

The 'mystery' leg...? ![]() |
It's akin to logging on a website to find the missing condiment on a turd sandwich.

somehow i don't think their site was overrun with traffic in search of the mystery play. |
Schrup should be happy with the new TVG policy....he won't be embarrassing himself with losing ticket after losing ticket to the public anymore...just the valued TVG account holders....I don't think Corthers isnt too bad he goes for prices and hits them....Mr. B has never had a winner, when he picks the same horse as me I know I did something wrong with my handicapping.
|
This should be a real concern to horseplayers around the world, and each of you playing the Pick 4's at the TVG tracks should be signing up for this petition. This will be taking out a great deal of dead money from these pools, because the number of people that are playing the TVG Pick 4 tickets and constantly dropping an extra $48 into the pools al of the time and rarely (if ever) hitting them will hurt the pools.
Sign up as fast as possible, because horseplayers need dead money from idiots following the leaders of TVG to great riches... |

something was fishy about the whole thing. I agree that shrup never hits, but curiously his mystery leg was the first leg, and he singled a horse that went off at 13-1 and won. that is really not his style, to single a horse that isn't an overwhelming favorite. anyway he actually hit it and I think it paid around 8 or 9 hundred.
|
It's the lush's (MISTA B) idea. Schrupp can get the hard horses, but he botches the lower-priced legs.
|
Do they really think people are going to signup for a TVG account JUST to see their stupid picks?

I think that this move is odd, because people probably tune in to root against their picks. So, they are actually taking away a valuable part of the show.
|
I guess it really isn't too big of an idea. Just pick the 3-4 most unlikely horses in the mystery leg, and fill in the blank...

Bring back Gary Stevens on TVG
someone make a petition

I could care less what TVG anchors put on air.
oooooooooo The big Mystery Pick 4 Ticket. LMAO!!!! BUT I will give props to Shrupp on his 11-1 single on his Pick 4. What does that make him? 3 for 500? |

Taps for TVG?
Ralphie narrates as adult -- [After Mother breaks the Old Man's Major Award, and he is unsuccessful at repairing it] "With as much dignity as he could muster, the Old Man gathered up the sad remains of his shattered Major Award. Later that night, alone in the backyard, he buried it next to the garage. Now I could never be sure, but I thought that I heard the sound of "Taps" being played. Gently."
If someone playing "Taps" at TVG yet? |
