If he ran anything close to what he was doing a year ago on the BEL grass, he was as good as anything in the race, and 30-1 made that a chance worth betting.

After hitting the 4th, I'm going to kick myself for the rest of the day for talking myself out of putting the 4 on the bottom. I couldn't decide between the 4 and the 6 and shouldn't have tried.

That said, the 6 might have gotten up for second if she didn't get wiped out by the 1 in the turn.

I'm right there with you. The 7 had the second-best late-speed figure - miles ahead of anyone other than the 1 - and I didn't even include him in my exacta box? :confused:
