Why? It's his fault Buerlhe gave up 7 runs in the opener in the 2nd Inning and the umpires screwed them 3 times in 2 innings? Admittedly they sucked last night, but they were jobbed in the opener.

Crede was out at home. It was only a phantom tag in Chicago!! (the ump was simply stunned Peralta made a bad throw...ask Avery...he is well aware that Peralta never makes any blunders in the field!!) Tackling the shortstop still is not allowed in baseball to break up a double play (even if it is Peralta!!). There was actually a third screw???...my guess is that one is imagined as well!!

(Indians front office has ordered umps to be nice to Cleveland or they'll return the bugs!)

Mortimer 04-03-2008 07:09 AM

Talk about yer sour pusses.

When you are undefeated it is easy to laugh at your team.

I quite enjoyed Cabrera's air mail from 2nd base later in the game.Usually you will see the 1st baseperson react with a futile leap high into the air....but not on this baby----oh no.

The minute it left Cabrera's hand it was as if time stood still......as well as Garko. He just stood there admiring its trajectory as it sailed WAY over his head.

The Bid 04-03-2008 07:44 AM

GB, you think hes a good coach? Ozzie G is the Mike Brown of MLB.

I really do....Great clubhouse, players love playing for him and he knows the game inside and out. And he did win a World Series, which counts for a lot. Reinsdorf doesn't throw cash around like Detroit or the AL East so he has to make do with what he gets. I think he gets a bad rap because of his personality

I like how Mike Brown constantly has "rotation" problems.

But he is saddled with James as the owner is more in love with him than MainCourse so I have to give him some slack.

But GEEZ!......he has rotation problems when everyone is in playing shape ....or not. He's had them every year! It's not like this is 43 Man Squamish.

The Bid 04-03-2008 08:21 AM

He should be handing the clipboard off to the coach, the guy is 15 years ahead of where he needs to be right now, which is chasing down balls, and handing clipboards off. The Cavs will never win a championship with Mike Brown coaching

He is swine.

We must hire back Fratello.

The Bid 04-03-2008 10:39 AM

I cant believe they hired this douchebag over Van Gundy, although past hires have been pretty comical.

Lucas, Wittman, Silas, I mean c'mon.

I heard he did not want to come here.

The Bid 04-03-2008 10:44 AM

Cleveland is a great city, we even embraced Pat Corrales. I cant believe any coach not wanting to make Cleveland home

ror!

Have you ever seen the clip of Mr. Kung Foo , in his jacket and gloves on a 90 degree day, go after Dave Stewart with a kicking blow-----only to get decked with one punch?

Cleveland being no-hit through 5

that won't last long

Mortimer 04-03-2008 12:55 PM

It didn't.

The Bid 04-03-2008 08:36 PM

Westbrook pitched too well to lose today. I thought Wedge should have taken him out between the 7th and 8th.

GBBob 04-03-2008 09:45 PM

I'm not so sure I'm too glad the Sox are heading for Detroit now..Can you say overdue, pissed off, ready to explode, etc..

The Bid 04-03-2008 09:52 PM

Mike Brown proved again tonight how pathetic he is as a bench coach. Letting the bulls go on a 40 20 run to finish the game. Brutal

Sox should do fine in Detroit, Detroit has looked horrible the first couple games.

The Bulls won that game? How??

Detroit can't keep not hitting...well, hopefully for 3 more games

The Bid 04-03-2008 10:27 PM

Bob

I have no idea how they won. Cleveland had a 17 point lead, squandered that while being outscored 40-20 to end the game. Mike Brown failed to take a timeout and settle his squad. It was disgraceful. Lebron had 29 with 8 minutes left in the third and finished with 33. When he stops scoring the cavs stop playing, the offense is pathetic when hes not on the muscle, or on the floor

horseofcourse 04-04-2008 12:33 AM

Brown does the best he can. It's Cleveland. No coach, no team, no players no matter who is going to win a title. He isn't a great coach...but I think me and Bid had arguments on Brown last year. HE is nowhere near as bad as you think however. They did go to the finals last year...according to Avery it was not about LeBron....according to Bid they have a terrible coach. According to me the players outside LeBron aren't great.

So according to the 3 biggest Cleveland fans here...Mike Brown is a huge problem...LeBron is a huge problem...and their supporting cast is a huge problem. It's a miracle they win 6 games!!

The Bid 04-04-2008 08:01 AM

If thats not the worst Coach in the NBA I will eat a shoe

Mortimer 04-04-2008 08:04 AM

You are an idiot.

Let me repeat that one.

You are an idiot.

At times I will fucl< around.

I don't think a whole lot of Brown...but we have had worse. I was kidding with Bidster, but would not argue with him as he does have brainage----does not suffer from vapor lock.

Let me state something very clearly....the Cavaliers won the East last year because they were the best team. They had a good group behind a superstar. They did not beat SA because SA is better.

This year they have been riddled with injury. What happened last night I don't know ,not having seen it.All I do know is superstar Garnett could not do much with a lowly supporting cast. James does not have that....and hasn't had that. He's had a pretty good overall cast. Some day you just might understand James is part of the solution here as he is part of the problem, but you really are too stupid to wrap around that enigma.

I bring Brown and Lucas to the wire together. Infact I liked Lucas more because he had personalized sewn in initials on all his suits where cufflinks should be.

Look at this line up

Pat Corrales
Doc Edwards
Johnny Mac
Joel Skinner
Charlie Manuel.

John Lukas
Randy Wittman
Paul Silas
Mike Brown

That may be the worst group of coaches any city has ever had.

Mortimer 04-04-2008 08:29 AM

Well it ain't exactly the best.

The Bid 04-04-2008 08:32 AM

 Its shockingly horrible. I didnt realize how bad until I started to think about it

Im not going to get upset over it, Im putting all my eggs in this basket and riding it out

Really...don't think about it. The pain will be too much to bear.

The Bid 04-04-2008 08:44 AM

Its more than any fan should ever be dealt. Its been a downward spiral since the Force went under.

Don't you think Buddy Bell should have had a chance? He was one of the classiest Injuns ever and got stuck in KC w/ perhaps the worse talent and cheapest organization in MLB at the time.
