He will. This kid can flat out play. A dark day as a Wolverine fan.

ddthetide 03-19-2008 03:44 PM

how long will it take him to be in trouble with the police? mid-season?

Coach Pants 03-19-2008 04:05 PM

He's going to be a major bust. A true egomaniac who is a wannabe thug scumbag.

He must be very intelligent if two fine institutions like Michigan and Ohio State wanted him. Those are very difficult schools for out of state students to get accepted at.

Yeah the Harvard and Yale of the Big Ten. :D

saucon17 03-19-2008 04:20 PM

See him play in 2 live games I was at and 5 on TV. Pryor looked pretty awesome and carried the Jeanette team on his back. Just saw him also lead Jeanette basketball team a state championship also. Kid is quite an athlete just hope he keeps his head on straight

The Bid 03-19-2008 07:23 PM

YES!

horseofcourse 03-20-2008 09:56 AM

should have gone to Penn State!! Would be starting next year. Sitting on the bench at OSU next year. (always listen to your father...they are smarter than you kid!!)

ddthetide 03-20-2008 11:06 AM

espn radio was playing clips from the press conference, what a piece of crap this kids is. he'll be as much trouble as the qb at lsu....... good luck osu.

You give it that long? I was thinking something might pop up the first week of fall practice.

declansharbor 03-20-2008 11:55 AM

You guys really think he's that much of a miscreant??

Cut him some slack, he's got Charlie Batch in his corner...

Kid has skills out the wazoo, hopefully he can translate them to the college level. Tressel should be "mother henning" the crap out of him, thus keeping his head on semi-straight.

I guess we'll see what we'll see then, won't we?

The Bid 03-20-2008 01:48 PM

So what....The kids not smart and hes a punk. Lots of 17-18 year old kids are punks. Lucky for this one he can play a little bit and will be in a strict environment where hes forced to be a decent person, as well as a solid football player, and student. He will grow at The Ohio State University, if hes talented enough to play at the next level they will get him there.

As for him going to Penn State, why would any young qb want to go into that offense?

Its hard to knock the kid for picking the right school

I guess you didn't see Michael Robinson play in that offense 3 years ago. (the last time OSU didn't win the big 10!)

ddthetide 03-20-2008 03:42 PM

since he's started his school tour after signing day, he's been in two bar fights and released because of who he is and was caught driving a vette "that did Not belong to him and without permission". that sounds like a stolen car to me?

Not stolen... just lended to him by an agent to get his foot in the door lol. Yeah, hopefully Tressel puts him on lockdown to protect Pryor from himself. Lets see how he does and how he acts before judging further.

Is he really any different than Chris Leak announcing on sportscenter that he's goin to Florida? Nice career, but not a pro. I'm just sayin, all these blue-chippers got some ego to them. He's an idiot now, hopefully he'll grow up.

skippy3481 03-20-2008 04:48 PM

I have no dog in the fight but he should have gone to michigan... hello spread offense...

The Bid 03-20-2008 05:24 PM

Who cares if he's sitting on his a$$ and not playing in the game. :p

pgardn 03-20-2008 11:04 PM

Ya just know the college coaches
love having the hat game played
with a bunch of egomaniac teenagers.

Tressel is pleased and pensive at the
same time. You really have to wonder
of the maturity level of a kid like this
play'n peekaboo.

Watched him in the allstar game here,
on TV, he looked awesome. We will
see. Maybe he is another Ryan P. at LSU
and rides the bench for a while till he learns
to grow up.

Tressel knew before he made the announcement. Most coaches do. The hat game was created by a guy at espn and it happens almost every year.

Yes it does and its pretty sick.
The kids dont have to play it.
Lots of them sign early and get on
with getting ready. Some even graduate
1st semester High School and get up
to the school of their choice (going a bit far
imo also)

The kid just signed. You mean
Tressel knew the kid was going
to Ohio State right AFTER the
all star game? I dont think the
kid knew where he was going.

Despite what he says.

I dont think the kid is stupid.
But humble and willing to learn...?
It will be interesting.
Comparisons to the college
Vince Young
very premature.

The Bid 03-21-2008 01:18 AM

I dont know how long hes in jail but its not long enough. Hopefully he can watch The Ohio State University win the National Championship next year from his cell. Hes a scumbag

What makes me dumb Avery?? Michael Robinson had a great year as qb at Penn State his senior year running an passing?? I watched it. They went 12-1...won the big 10 and beat Ohio State?? That should be considered a bad year?? It's my alma mater. I support them. Sorry.

Well, I guess I can use Avery stats here. In games that they lost to "Quarterback U." Ohio State is 0-5.

Avery stats.

Well I guess one out of 8 since 2000 ain't sa bad.

I watched it.

It has been said a sucker is born every minute.

They went 12-1...won the big 10 and beat Ohio State??

You could have chosen all those losing seasons as well in the last 8 years.....but no! You had to pick this one.

By the way....Ohio State did not have any losing seasons over that same period.

That should be considered a bad year??

Well it did beat Dopa's 3-9 and 4-7's.

It's my alma mater. I support them. Sorry.

Boy I'LL say.

This is SSSSO you.

Here's something you'll like. Since the "great" State Penn left its independent Twinkie schedule and joined the BT....they have won two titles.

2

2 in 15 years.

Nowrthwestern has won more.

They are 55-42 from 2000 on.

Ohio State is 81-20 over that same span....and has been in 3 nc games winning one.

State Penn has yet to sniff an nc.

Perhaps this is why Pryor did not become sticky with State Penn.

And also why you are doorknob dumb.

horseofcourse 03-21-2008 09:29 AM

You are as cute as a button Avery!! You like to play with me.

1994 was a voters mishap. One of only times since 1980 (pre-BCS) that an undefeated didn't even get a share of a title. That was a voter Tom Osborne sympathy vote denying PSU a national championship post big 10 entry. They beat a top 20 OSU team 63-7 I believe and dropped from 1 to 2 in the polls that week when NEbraska beat an overrated Colorado team. think about that...a ranked OSU team gets beat by over 50 by the number 1 team and the team dropped in the rankings. To say they didn't "sniff" a national championshipe since joining the big 10 is once again patently false and not truthful. Look back at the 1994 season. It's on the internets. Their only loss in 2005 was a clock malfunction at Michigan.

They have been nowhere near as good as OSU since they joined the big 10...but again your statements are filled with falsehoods.

Mortimer 03-21-2008 09:36 AM

The above surgical vaporization was administered by
