I like the snoopy and red baron song. I can't recall the name but it has the line "Christmas bells, oh Christmas bells ringing in through the land" in it.

Mortimer 12-16-2007 11:54 AM

I knew this would turn out to be a dumb idea.

I was serious! I like that song! Snoopy and Red stop fighting and toast each other because it's Christmas. Peace between them for at least one day. Wouldn't that be nice if everyone just stopped fighting for one day?:)

Rileyoriley 12-16-2007 12:05 PM

I found it. It's called Snoopy Christmas. I don't know how to post the link though.

O Holy Night is my favorite traditional song, but I love that song by TSO as well... Christmas Eve in Sarajevo.

The one in the Grinch movie by Faith Hill is a nice one too. It's called "Where are you Christmas."

Sightseek 12-17-2007 11:34 AM

I confess to really liking the Mariah Carey song "All I want for Christmas" from the movie Love Actually.

If you enjoyed Love Actually, you'll love The Holiday. I thought that Kate Winslet did a phenomenal job. I'm a sucker for romantic comedies, though. :o

I'll definitely have to try to finish it over the weekend. Winslet is one of my favorite actresses...Jude Law's presence in the movie doesn't hurt either. ;)

You must have a thing for British actresses.

(I'll admit....that was funny)

Coach Pants 12-17-2007 12:37 PM

Isn't there a Holiday movie with Queen Latifah in theaters? It's called "Ooh girl he fine!" or something like that?

Mortimer 12-17-2007 12:52 PM

Time to get serious again:

santa on a practice run

shown by the nose of red

oh they were out just for fun

but someone pushed the sled

santa turned to face the rear

to see what he could see

so he did and with no fear

he exclaimed DOWNTOWN DOLLAR BILLY!

what brings you here to us

my little running friend

billy said what's near to us

and I like running from the end

the reindeer laughed happily

santa petted the horse of heart

billy snorted daffily

enjoying his new start

it just wasn't going my way

said bill and promised to never part

i am happy to lose pat day

and have a brand new heart

and joyess times would multiply

little ones would count anew

for billy's shadow adds to the sky

as he helps bring toys to you

Sightseek 12-17-2007 12:57 PM

Ooooooo.75

TheSpyder 12-17-2007 01:04 PM

I get it...Pat Day is an elf....am I right?

TheSpyder 12-17-2007 01:05 PM
