DrugS' ATR appearance..?
Shocked.. SHOCKED!.. that no one commented on DrugS' terrific segment last Friday on "At the Races"!
LINK: http://www.thoroughbredracingradione...dio/92607b.mp3 Doug was witty, pithy and informative and it was great having him bring everyone up to speed on Presque Isle's first meet.. If you didn't listen, here's your chance to hear the voice of the man, the legend.. |
DrugS is the best!

Now that ATR has given DrugS his necessary credibility I have decided to make him next week's " Playing to Win " guest. While I am loathe to allow his dashing good looks to overshadow me, I feel it is important to subject everyone to his brilliance. I just hope he doesn't wear overalls.

You don't sound as old as you look. Good job.

All I see is your head leaning out of the stall. |
I just listened to it but was distracted by how many times he said "you know" and stuttered.
This was actually my first time listening.... Steve has a rhythmic and melodic voice. Very nice. |

"You know what I'm sayin'?" "The fact of the matter is..." "knawmean?" "True dat" "Irregardless" "I could care less" And who can forget... "It is what it is" |

'that being said' or the variation 'having said that' i hate that phrase--almost as much as 'it is what it is' |
Irregardless isn't a word. :p
Then again, neither is idiocacy and I used that one last week. Haha |

I think that South Carolina is going to win the SEC East, though... should be a great game. |
Gotta root for the Cats. If they win then a favor is being used to get tickets for the LSU game.

All of those guys sound especially polished - nevermind that they are rarely prepared and rarely informative. |

While it's tempting to blame such things on the region I live in, you know, I think in my case the real culprit is mental retardation.
You know, it is what it is! |

Can't wait to see you on BTW's show.... the battle of the annoying. Balding, badly dressed, and unaware of body language Vs. "you know". What a treat! |
