Somebody hit the Hollywood Pick 6 on Monday twice with investments of $2 & $4?
This smells like the Breeders Cup with the Drexel boys. The same person had the ticket twice...I wonder if he want two deep in the last leg using the 2 & 9
Hope there are some answers coming, the same owner of $2 & $4 tickets hit for 1.1 million. http://www.hollywoodpark.com/bet_the..._07042007.html |
Wow!
I had the 9 on my freakin long gone ticket! That is an unreal score! Incredible!
|
the article said he bought them at a terminal 17 seconds apart.
that implies they have a record of when they were sold. it's pretty amazing that anyone ever hits on a $2 ticket but i don't think you'll be seeing an investigation. |
Yes It Can Be Done... Fools Keep Playing It For 3-5 Thousand Dollars. Try To Pick The Lottery Balls In The Order They Come Out!

It was me. Sorry I didn't share. :p

I guess they were hard tickets so that they couldn't have been manipulated by accessing the binary file and changing the numbers without affecting the time stamp associated with the tickets.
It would have to be an autotote employee with access to the file(s) and just added 2 live tickets to the will pays for ALL in the 8th. It was done before, it this thing paid $30K, nobody bats an eye. Ticket holder hasn't come forward to cash yet. To me it seems real suspicious. |

there would be no way for an autotote employee to manipulate tickets once the 5th leg was run. the existence of a physical ticket which will carry a bar code showing when and where it was sold is another reason to distinguish this from 2002. i suspect autotote, having been burned already, has additional security in place. and anyone smart enough to beat whatever security is in place would also probably be smart enough not to try this on a big day. they have chris harn's example to look back on. |

Los alamitos is the main hub for So Cal, isn't it? It it were bought at a terminal, it would be time stamped. If so, they may even have video of it. |

Maybe
It was just some lucky fan

I phucking can't stand hearing about the BC scandal. Since I went to Drexel and am obviously a racing fan I must have gotten 22 calls asking if I knew these jackoffs or was involved.
They were in TKE fraternity which was the biggest assholes on campus, a bunch of overprivledged and lazy bums who these clowns epitomize. |

Is it possible these were backup tickets and the guy punched in many many many more?

If they created dozens of $2 and $4 tickets, instead of one large sized ticket. In that case, it would make sense if they were submitted seconds apart, as perhaps the only difference in the two tickets was going 2 deep in one leg instead of a single. |
Perhaps he was playing his odometer reading and he wasn't sure if he should use the reading when he left the house or when he parked at the track? So he played both..LOL
There was a lady at Golden Gate that did that and hit the P6. |
Just listening on tvg and they said it was a physical ticket from a teller(thats been discussed) and the person bet $10 on pick-6 tickets and cashed two tickets... thats a pretty good ROI
|
Yeah, but the idiot still had $6 in losing tickets...
|
no no no $4 in losing tickets. I mean hes no pg1985 but i guess everyone has to start somewhere.Wow they just showed the two people on tv. Its entirely possible they just got lucky.
|
Oh, thats right, he did have a $4 ticket in there. What, wasn't confident and had to throw in an extra in one of the races?
|
I'm happy for them looks like either a father and daughter or husband and wife( i can't tell) He looks about 50ish shes maybe mid 30's. They were in the winners circle getting their picture taken.
|
Oh dear lord, complete dumb luck i love it. Um my dad he uh studies the cards and i pick out names i like. and then we uh heard about the rollover and uh we decided to play. Didn't even watch the races, didn't find out till this morning. The two tickets were a mistake. He only meant to punch one.
|
Doesnt matter how much you know in this game luck is always involved. Thats what keeps those license plate, address, birthday guys coming back. Godbless them for just showing up and punching a ticket out.
|
The story about the refrigerator was hilarious. I am happy for them. They seem real nice and down the earth. Glad they won it instead of some syndicate.
|
Texan he also hit a conso so he had $8 in winners and only one loser... thats pretty strong.
|
Oh i agree, they seem like average people and really for just finding out she won a million she's pretty even keeled. She's actually more entertaining then these two guys. Wasen't poking fun at all. I spent like 6 hours on the card and had 2 winners. She picks names and between her and her dad pound it twice. I love it.
