Derby Trivia
Just had someone here at work tell me some interesting Derby trivia - feel free to add your own on to this thread...
There are two Derby winners that have the same name as major cities in the State of Washington - Spokane (where I currently live) won the Derby in 1889 and 88 years later Seattle Slew won the Derby in 1977. Now you know... :p |
Anybody up for a fun trivia game?
Rules are, the person who answers correctly gets to ask the next question and so on. If Derbycat doesn't mind I'll start... The only race this horse ever won was the Kentucky Derby. Who was he? |

Correct! Man o' War, Seabiscuit, Kelso, Buckpasser, John Henry and Cigar were never in the Derby... Native Dancer, Nashua, Bold Ruler, Round Table and Alydar ran in the Derby but did not win... |
