Are we going to be effected by the "update" ESPN is going to do late tonight? If so that's not fair....:mad:

Not that I have made any changes to my team other than to change the line up from benched to not benched.

But that really isn't fair.

I believe we are going to be affected but I dont know to what extent yet. You and me may be the most screwed because we are leading but lets just see how bad we are screwed before we panic.

When you get off the bench ...........all the others scream " WHOOOOA!"





They won't make that mistake again.

I believe I am going to be very angry tomorrow! But TODAY is a happy day and we will celebrate SWLY. Tomorrow I will be angry!

With my opening day line I wouldn't be surprised if i'm
not at the bottom of the standings. Quite a few of my
players are on the DL. Buffy and Cannon only positive
thing that came come out of this is that it is a long s
season.

I know it is a long season, but that doesn't mean I can't be angry at ESPN.

Question: So any of my players that were on the bench on opening day I will lose points for even though I put them in the games they were playing? Is that what those ESPN doofys are saying? We will only get credit for those that were not on the bench opening day?

Whoever was in your starting line up on opening thats who you will
get points from April 1-11. So all the players you put into the line up
and all the transaction would be negated. So look at your opening day
line up and that will be who you be getting points from. This does
truly suck.

OH, they are soooo going to get an email from me!!!!

I have an AWESOME pitching staff so I am going to fall of that top spot. NOW I am angry!

They suck. I sent another email to the espn dude today.

I think it is a consipiracy! They want to hold the woman down. I was leading BUT today miraculously I have LOST over 200 points and am no longer leading. They fear the woman! :eek: :eek:

You and Cannon got lucky you just switched places I dropped from 4th
to 9th. God Damnit just tried to access my team and that page is page
currently down. This is really pissing me off now.

I just don't get why they can't give the points to everyone for whoever they had on the team on starting day. Not just the starting ones. Pitchers get the majority of the points.

Just imagine some of the leagues that have huge money bet into this
their league. They must be going crazy. I think all my starting
pitchers on opening day are on the DL now.

OH that sux! I am betting that two or three of my pitchers will go down by the end of the year. (My hubby is laughing at me right now because I yelled at him during my draft that he told me to wait another draft round to pick up Chris Carpenter and he was taken by the time it got back to me. He is RUBBING it in BIG TIME now)

I do believe some in our league have $$ on it. I am a glorified front runner. I always go to the top and then fall in the end of the season. Last year I told everyone to call me Spanish Chestnut!

Now I am angry and I am going to do everything to win.

No they aren't. They are NOT crediting us for the pitchers we had on the bench. Meaning if they weren't starting for us on the first day we lost all the points they have gotten since. IE: Since I had Cabrera; Chuckie and Jennings on the bench for the first game of the season, I lost all the points they got me since.

I know it is for fun, but I am a competitive girl. I have to do better in my league than my hubby does in his. It is a thing that we do.

I'd really be kicking some ass if that damn j.D. drew didn't break up my no hitter last night. Though it may be in bad taste to complain when your pitcher earns 96 points in one game.:cool:

Bad taste if you hadn't had him in on the first game of the season and he was sitting on the bench and you didn't get credit for the game. Wouldn't you be pissed right now? :)

When you are a the top of the standings you are allowed
to gloat. I'm just bitching and moaning, my players seem
to be in funk. But I've been pleasantly surprised how well
Pat Burrell has been playing.

They will come back. My team always starts out well then they putter out. Maybe yours are closers...

Hey, I lost about six starts for winning pitchers with the ESPN screw up. Then Chuckie goes and pitches a clunker and Jennings gets hurt.

Don't worry sauc, your players will wake up. Mine I believe are going to sleep!

I have Pat Burrell on my team who last night he had bases loaded twice and did nothing. It's bad for your fantasy team, but worst when I'm a Phillies fan.

Sorry about your Phillies. But it is VERY early in the season.

I picked up the pitcher Davies for the Braves, who is pitching today. Lets see how my newbie pitches! With my luck lately it will be a clunker just because I am a Braves fan.
