I like Giacomo. Here's hoping that he is a smash hit at stud so that people will quit dissing the horse. He was always a very useful animal, and loved Churchill Downs.

I think he'll be a very useful stallion.

The worst derby winner in the last 50 years, he only won because that bad riding Jeremy Rose managed to get Afleet alex stopped 18 different times, has been whisked off to a career at stud which is surely going to be as mediocre as his racing career. He will end up standing in Korea, or Turkey, a bottom tier market befitting his athletic ability and class.

It will take a while to prove, but I think you're wrong.

He burned these btches on Derby day.You can't expect them to give him any respect.One thing he did have is class.His best 2 races were in the 2 biggest races in the World(1st in the Derby,and 4th in the BC Classic.)He beat the Lemonade-for-Cancer horse,and cost all but a few people a lot of dough.See the majority on here are out to find the quickest horse in the world,and crown him their king.Problem is that those horses get beat.They don't bring it,and they get beat.If you don't bring it on the day,then it doesn't matter how good you are(you will get beat.)

I like anything to do with Holy Bull. Plus, my husband and I cleaned up with Giacomo in his Derby. He should breed to quick sprinter types. He has the stamina. Maybe his detractors will believe in him when he sires a few stakes winners. Stronach loves Holy Bull horses; maybe some talented girls will be breeding to Giacomo.

Personally, I love his conformation. I also love the fact that he's got higher leg action. I can see him being a versatile sire for both dirt and turf runners. He gets a lot of hate, but I like him a lot. I hope he proves all of his naysayers wrong. :)

As you probably already know, I like "higher leg action" as well.
"Versitile sires" take 'em where they find 'em, and bring new levels of excitement.
