That effort ain't gonna win the BC Classic...gonna be a whole lot tougher to run down Quality Road and others than Switch.

Coach Pants 10-02-2010 06:23 PM

She's not running in the classic. They will take the easy way out.

Dahoss 10-02-2010 06:23 PM

All out to beat Switch. No wonder they didn't want to run in the Goodwood.

brianwspencer 10-02-2010 06:24 PM

Well at least she beat a 3yo filly at something.

letswastemoney 10-02-2010 06:27 PM

Was Rinterval scratched because of the death threats?? if so, that would be insane

Coach Pants 10-02-2010 06:30 PM

There are pollsters at Hollywood and they're asking a few questions

A sample..

Who is the greatest musician of all time?
John Lennon 1%
Bob Dylan 0%
Mozart 0%
Justin Bieber 99%

Dahoss 10-02-2010 06:30 PM

Her consistency is just amazing, there is no denying that. It's just too bad she has been coddled for so long.

Indian Charlie 10-02-2010 06:31 PM

I would say Zenyatta probably won the race when Switch switched to the wrong lead late in the race and lost her momentum and stride.

Z was pretty lucky today.

I could be wrong though.

Nah Z didn't want to hurt her feelings. She's all about girl power and the girls gotta stick together.

Both announcers did a great job...

No. It's not at Hollywood Park, either.

Nice little tune-up for the big mare

Time to go HOME now … and let it all hang out…

The notion that Zenyatta is the greatest horse of all time is the greatest mass misunderstanding of reality since people thought the world was flat.

declansharbor 10-02-2010 08:41 PM

While her place in history is grossly exaggerated, there's no denying that it takes a special horse to implement that particular running style and still own a perfect record (no matter who the competition may be). Horses that spot the field open lengths at the break EVERY time out, are bound to 'reap what they sew', sooner or later.

I find it compelling that her career's most interesting litmus test also doubles as her swan song. Those that knock her have ample opportunity to bet against her at the end of the month.

Nope, legitimate question considering someone else posted something about her receiving death threats.

Anyways, I read she flipped in the paddock so that answers my question.

I think she's going to win the Classic (if they don't puss out, big if). But if she does, she'll be the most overbet Classic winner in history.
