Its irrelevant.

I am saying if they think that what should they do. If they feel she isnt 100% yet.

Now we can argue that they really think she is 100%. If they think she is 100% what is their motive here?

The motive is obvious. Jackson hates losing more than he likes winning. The idea that she somehow isn't 100% is made up, nebulous crap that he puts out there in case she loses. He is the most insecure billionaire that I have ever seen.

HomerS, just for the record, running a 4yo filly in the Delaware or Ruffian in no way is similar to running a 3yo filly in the Preakness, Haskell, or Woodward.

One concocts a schedule of goals depending on the horse and the suitable races. For instance, while Quality Road is having a somewhat short campaign, his goals this year, laid out very early, were the Donn, the Met, the Whitney, one or both of the Woodward and Jockey Club Gold Cup, and finally the BC. Those are the biggest dirt races in the country, spread throughout the year, and thus those are the ones an older horse who wants to lay a legitimate claim to horse of the year should be running in. Sure, you could substitute the Foster for the Met, but certainly you get my drift.

Running in mostly races of no challenge, and then demanding awards at the end of the year, is a relatively new thing.....and it stinks. And, it is ruining the game at the highest level. Fortunately, the BC has offered this platform for those deluded enough to buy the BS.

Believe it or not, racehorses can have more than one goal.

That would make the chemistry a little harder though.

Been several days now since this bizarre announcement to stick RA in an ungraded contest … and it still makes me laugh...

She is doing what Zenyatta won't. Race at different tracks throughout the year and not stay in hiding. RA will go to MTH and reward the fans there, then race at Saratoga late summer. I think it's a fine move going back to the two tracks she ran huge at last year. She is obviously back to her old self and at this point would crush Zenyatta. If Team Moss had the stones to go race in Saratoga, it would be great. But they won't and now seem afraid to be anywhere near RA. Team Moss running her in yet another boring So-Cal filly race is sad.

Wow … hoisting a few cold ones this evening, stone?

Indian Charlie 07-05-2010 10:25 PM

It's a well known fact stock traders get blitzed at night.

What's your excuse operatard? Hoisting a few too many concussions tonight?

Time to latch onto a new word, Indian boy

You've pretty much beaten "tard" to death at this point.

Smooth Operator 07-05-2010 10:48 PM

Stone must've called it a night.

Guy was on a roll there for a while … saying Buffett "isn't that bright" … and RA "would crush" Z.

Was looking forward to some more hilarity

Guess I'll have to settle for Indian boy's next gem…

Did anybody think Banshee Breeze would crush the then undefeated Manistique?

None of us know what would happen in a RA and Zenyatta race. Shirreff's record in NY is not encouraging though.

Nope.

It's such a fitting word for so many people.

Especially you.

Do you honestly think it's some sort of accident that I keep using it? Like gosh, I must suffer from such a lack of imagination that I cannot come up with other words, like loser, or Charlene?

Ya know, maybe I'll try to come up with something just for you after all. Maybe every fourth or so post I address to you, I'll resort to the tard thing, but for now, I'll leave you with the Prostate Operator one.

Oops, make that Prostate Operatard.

Nah, I don't drink anymore. But if I do you will know. I will start praising Team Zenyatta for their strong schedule.

Buying stocks and blindly holding them for a long period of time during a bull market doesn't take a rocket scientist. Buffet makes a fortune during bull mkt runs, and gets killed during bear market periods. I guess he is very smart during bull mkts and very dumb during bear mkts. But being a big Buffet fan you knew this already.

With statements like RA would crush Zenyatta I think you should reconsider going back to the sauce

By the way, would love to see this Blame stuff the super-fresh QR in the Whitney…
