Funny that Heavenly Prize, and Storm Cat, would win Grade 1s on the turf.

I had him in both races as well. Lost a small fortune on him in the Fayette Stakes.

Did Heavenly Prize or Storm Cat ever race on grass?

Neither did.

Now, I am not blaming Blanc, because I don't want to upset BBB, but Bailey won that race.

I bet Saint Stephen....he sucked.

Relaxed Gesture ( and that idiot Bris Blanc ) was tons the best.

RGesture is a very nice horse. unlucky many times, but he has run competitively with some of the best turf horses in this country over the past 3 years.
is going to remain in training in 2007?

Who was the last horse to win the Manhattan Handicap, Man o'War and Turf Classic all in the same year?

Diplomatic Jet? Didn't he do that?

oracle80 12-21-2006 09:27 AM

I think it was Jet, it was a VERY bad year of American grass horses that year and I'm not sure if he even won the Eclipse award.

Obviously Kotashan won that Eclipse award...but Diplomatic Jet did win all three races.

Gander 12-21-2006 09:32 AM

You are right Oracle, that was good. 1996 was the year.
Sick pup you are for knowing that.

I couldn't remember who it was who beat him, are you sure Kotashan was that year?
I hated Jet, I always played against him and he always made those loose leads in slow paces.

Who rode him in all of those wins?
