WOW

Same for us

We were at the OTB in Montreal. We talked Sumwon up a little and half the place puts action on her. Then she hits the board what a race. Thanks Steve and Chuck for this ownership opportunity.

Watched the race at the racebook at Mohegan Sun Casino. What a thrill it was telling the mutuel clerk that the exacta ticket I was cashing had MY horse underneath.

Thanks Chuck, Steve, and all others involved in this experience.

I watched the race at Delaware Park and I told the teller the same exact thing when I cashed my across-the-board ticket, and yes, it was a thrill.

Unbelievable!

Super happy with the result! Too bad Willie couldn't slam the rail shut.lol
I went to River Downs to watch, was running late trying to rush the wife and kid down there, walked in to see them cross the line.
What a feeling, even though I was shut out at the window!

So May 18th there is another $50K claimer for 3yo fillies but that one is a mile and a sixteenth. There is also one on May 28th but only at 6.5 furlongs. There is also an allowance on May 25th but that is also a mile and a sixteenth. Was hoping there'd be another under the same conditions at a mile coming up.

Just rolled back in fron the "ville". What a great day for all the partners. Thanks to Chuck, Cherie and everyone else involved in getting her ready. Her progress is unbelievable. Based on the reaction of the partners that were in attendance, it's going to get nuts when she wins!!! And I've got a feeling that won't be long. Best part of the day.....Chuck and the crew get paid. As I stated in a previous post..." This is going to be very cool!!! "

back in StL after a nice day at the Downs.

Thanks to Steve and Chuck for "facilitating" a day at the races for the "owners." What a thrill seeing our horse race the way Sumwon did. She's game and getting better each race. Chuck did say she'll proabably run back in 3 weeks at the same conditions. And if I remember correctly, there's a turf race the next day, all other conditions the same.

Sumwon went back to the barn "bucking and kicking" according to Cherie, so it appears as though the race didn't take a lot out of her.

Her look is much improved since Chuck first bought her. Chilly Willy played his hand nicely all the way around.

Great job Sumwon!!! Way to go DEE TEE!!

I told a friend about Sumwon running and he was at the OTB yelling and cheering her on. Said he thought she did well and Willie did a good job on her. Sumwon was going back after the winner. I gotta get the chart and keep it for the collection

This is really great. I hope I can make the next race.

if this is how good you feel after running 2nd... can't wait for the win

Nice race by the filly!!! I enjoyed getting the chance to see her race in person. It was also good to meet a few of the partners yesterday! Wish I had more time to spend with you guys but I had my wife and a friend that had flown in to see Darrin Miller yesterday morning, sitting upstairs waiting for me.

All in all, I had a great 4 day vacation in Lexington and Louisville, with Sumwon's effort yesterday being the icing on the cake. It was a pleasure getting a chance to meet Steve and Chuck, spend a little time with both, and to have the chance to shake their hand and thank both of them in person. I have the deepest respect for what Steve is doing for us - it's not as easy as he makes it look!!! :)

I am completely enjoying being able to sit back and just watch the races again. After years of fending off partners who spent too much time in the condition book after each race, racing is fun again!! I felt very proud to see our horse trying her eyeballs out at Churchill Downs!!!!

In the end, Sumwon gave us all we can ever ask of any horse we own - to try hard enough to give us a chance to win.
