Feel terrible for anyone who bet the 10 in the last at Santa Anita. That's about as poor a finish on a horse as I have ever seen.

I had that feeling once today and a couple of brutal beats this weekend. That desperate nose saved my azz for the weekend. Having said that, that was a brutal beat for anyone who bet the 10.

Speaking of, how much do you think the p6 pays if the 4 beats the 7? Had it either way (on a $300 ticket :o), but i think it would've paid substantially more considering Matz's #'s with firsters. He was dead on the board even w/ JJ up, had to be the poor %.

I think if that the 4 horse wins, the number of tickets still alive would've been even more drastically cut than the 20k to 3k that it was with the 7 winning.

Was rooting hard and loud for the 11 in the finale, no such luck.
