I would hope that Irad Ortiz starts getting more respect and better mounts as he is a better rider than some of these bigger name stiffs.

I completely misjudged him. I really thought he was gonna be another Curatolo.

I said a number of times last year when he was a bug boy that I didn't understand why Curatolo was getting better mounts than Ortiz because Ortiz was a much better rider than Curatolo. I think he is going to be a top jock in a few years. He is proving right now that he should get better mounts.

Nick just tweeted that he leads the Spa meet in Grade I wins. I am sure the number of wins is probably 2, but hopefully can make some money with him as as we go towards the second half of the meet.
