Eric Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival 2010 was a day-long musical celebration featuring legendary guitarists and artistic collaborations by Eric and his friends including Allman Brothers Band, BB King, Buddy Guy, Jeff Beck, John Mayer, Sheryl Crow, Steve Winwood, Vince Gill, ZZ Top, and more.

Crossroads Guitar Festival 2010 took place on Saturday, June 26 at Toyota Park in Chicago.

The following artists participated in this unique event to benefit Crossroads Centre Antigua:

Slayer has sold more albums and made more money than Jeff Lynne? What is your source on that? I would be extremely surprised. ELO has had around 30 Top 40 hits. How many Top 40 hits has Slayer had? Jeff Lynne wrote every one of those songs too. Those songs are still being played. He's still getting royalty payments.

im just kidding..slayer is still touring and has sold 5 mill albums..but will never pass the great elo..

Speaking of great British groups from the 1970s and 1980s, here is a guy that was the co-founder of a great British band. They had one of the greatest selling albums of all times. The 1979 album sold 20 million copies. Can anyone name the album?

Anyway, this guy is on his own now and is still touring the world. I have been lucky enough to see him live a few times. He is fantastic. His voice sounds as good as ever. Here is a little 3 minute montage containing 7 of his of his greatest hits.

Yes, that is right. That's ok that you saw his name. Most people wouldn't recognize the name. Everybody knows Supertramp but I don't think too many people know the names of the guys in the band.

That album (Breakfast in America) is one of the biggest selling albums ever. It is one of my all-time favorite albums. I still listen to it to this day. Every song on the album is great. I think that album had 5 or 6 Top 40 hits. It had The Logical Song, Goodbye Stranger, Breakfast in America, Take the Long Way Home, Gone Hollywood, and Lord Is It Mine.

I wish Rick Davies and Roger Hodgson would put their differences aside and get back together for a final tour but I don't think it will ever happen. They haven't played together in well over 20 years.

I hope for our sake he does but I wouldn't be too sure. He doesn't like "loud" music any more.

he hasn't been able to play for 20 yrs. I went to see him at a small venue. 20 minutes of tuning his guitar then Johnny B Goode and gone
