I think our best man lost the election this past year... too bad he's not 20 years younger.

I'd vote for Pelosi over Palin... just kidding.. I'd stay home and cry.

I think I'm going to run and have Tiger Woods be my VP. I dunno if he's a democrat or republican, but he looks good and everyone loves him.

I just hope my parents live under a rock... cause the things that would come out about me..... oh gosh.

$90 Billion for Hamas.... UNFREAKINREAL. There's some change you can believe in. That may stimulate the rocket factories in Iran, but I really don't think it's in your average, working, taxpaying Americans best interest.

Do you have any idea what this money goes to? Or are you just another hater?

Bush v. Obama: Bush expanded the federal budget by a historic $700 billion. Obama would add another $1 trillion. Bush increased federal education spending 58% faster than inflation. Obama would double it.

Bush v. Obama, Round 2: Bush became the first President to spend 3% of GDP on federal antipoverty programs. Obama has already increased it to 20%.

Bush v. Obama, Round 3: Bush reduced taxes by nearly $2 trillion. Even after Obama’s tax cuts, he still will raise them by a total of $1.4 trillion.

Bush v. Obama, Round 4: In 2007, before the recession, Washington spent $24,172 per household. Obama would increase that to $32,463 per household.

Bush v. Obama Scorecard: While President Obama has framed his budget as a break from “failed policies” of the Bush Administration, it is in fact a doubling down on borrowing, spending, and bailing out.

The way I see it, the number three "could happen" scenario pays off the number one "could happen" scenario, and leaves the taxpayers with a multi-billion dollar profit.

Geithner's Bank Plan

Well, here it is:

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB123776536222709061.html

Stocks went up nearly 500 points today.
World markets went up.
15 of 30 AIG executives return $30 million in bonuses they got.
AIG changed name to AIU Holdings.

Kumbaya.

Bonus money was nothing 1/10 of 1 percent of what AIG got. Talk about a Ponzi scheme. Guess who pays?

Enlighten me, by all means. Do you know why they were given the Gaza Strip? Are you just another name-caller? Are you of Palestinian decent? Are you going to correct my exaggerated $$ amount? Do you pay enough taxes yet?

Bingo! Some people don't see through this classic misdirection ploy. Congress made sure this bonus $ was protected in the "stimulus" bill then painted Libby as the bad guy. He should have slapped a $1 bill on the table, told them to stick it and walked out. The hypocracy was staggering. Congress is too arrogant to be embarrassed. They should be ashamed to cash their paychecks. They want people to be pissed at AIG instead of them, and it seems to be working well.

I pay plenty of taxes and expect to pay more.

Your dollar amount was not exaggerated and was thankfully 5 times more than Bush had proposed.

I am not of Palestinian decent but think that this is a pittance for people in need compared to what we spend on others. And yes, unfortunately some will no doubt filter to Hamas but it's a start.

I'd love to see a 100% turnover in both houses. Not one single re-election. I do think Iran and maybe Hezbollah should be kicking in to rebuild Gaza instead of us. They are the ones who supplied Hamas with the rockets to fire at civilians from Mosques and schools. If they don't care about living in peace we can't make them want to. If they don't shoot the rockets, they don't get blasted to Kingdom Come. Simple.
