BS Steve. It was 100% on TOPIC for the time and part of the thread.

1) I was responding to the Velez vs Centeno

2) I was responding to Ness coming to Arlington

3) I was responding about Big's little girls math skills.

WTF, how is that off topic?

Velez ALSO gets the benefit of riding the nut Clement horses and Proctor horses. I COULD WIN RACES ON THESE Horses at Tampa. You put Centeno on these horses and he is winning at 30% on the lawn.

Nut Clement horses?!? - he's had a paultry 22 mounts this meet with a 13.6% win rate

Proctor has had only 87 starts and sits at a realistic 17.2% compared to Ness' 153 starts (nearly double Proctor's) @ 35.3% -but there's nothing going on there, we just witness greatness every day here at Tampa

You take Centeno off Ness's "superbly trained" horses and he's barely wiping his own asz here...

Wow.

There have been much worse thread hijackings (if you want to call those posts hijackings) than this around here lately.

It's OK. Went back through it.. Had a different 'feel' when looked at earlier.

Alright, you got me....I still would rather bet Centeno instead of Velez....

I hope he keeps himself at Calder and doesn't consider Arlington. I already have one guy I can't stand, another would just make me really salty alot....

Just bustin' stones Scavs. I just don't put a great deal of emphasis on the jocks here, just the few that absolutely can't ride a lick (CPF, Sealock, etc) I avoid regardless of the horse. Centeno is probably no better or worse than than Velez, Gonzalez, Montalvo or the others in the top flight of jocks at TBD now.
I only think that Homeister stands out above all of them, from experience (she's ridden for me twice this meet) she does her homework on each mount, never needs instructions because she's already worked out probable pace scenarios beforehand, and frankly is where she is because she has won on horses that the others would not have. I would take her, turf or dirt, above both Centeno and Velez any day.

A man of immense wisdom...you rock "Bigs"

I really wanted to go. Was informed of trip to St. Louis after I planned trip to Tampa.. the funny thing is.. I ended up not having to go
but KnS didn't have it so.. I guess it's best I didn't

yes, it's great that the kids go to the track.
