Victor Espinoza is in perfect position to secure the pocket or mid-pack ground saving trip on the 1 in the Del Mar 2nd, but he pulls back to almost last and too far out of the race on a live horse that is too far back and just misses for second. Painful. :wf

John Velazquez role her like she was the best. He gave away a ton of ground with StopChargingMaria and almost gave up the ghost in that final eighth.

How can you not be happy for the Repole stable? The guy brings fifty people to the track to cheer for his horse, pumps millions into the game, and is on the track to proudly walk his winner to the enclosure.
