What in the f.uck is going on in here?
|
ae's going to pop on here eventually to talk about the "stockpile of chemical weapons" that were "discovered".
what he's talking about are degraded 1980's era chemical weapons (same one's dropped on the kurd's) which after their short shelf life had expired, and were no longer usuable got buried in a dump by saddams military. so the world is now safe from unusable chemical weapons thanks to our intervention. this story had a shelf life of about 5 minutes on conservative talk radio before it dissapeared in a chorus of laughter and dropped jaws. Even the bush admin had enough sense avoid suggesting this was justification for the invasion. |

I would also like to take this oppurtnity to remind people that all the things that are being said about the Iraqis not being able to handle democracy etc
was one of the excuses for slavery as far as WMDs I believe the terrorists already have nukes and are just waiting for something. What I don't know... btw I seldom listen to talk radio no one pulled my string I am no parroting anything |

Most of us believe the war was being fought because they wanted to transform the middle east. Not because of oil, not because of WMD, but because these guys thought they could put a democracy in an arab country an everything would change. They were wrong, but some good things came out of the war, but the costs were too high for what we got out of it. |

^^^ Worst post in the history of Nerdy Trail, you sir, are a loser. How can you say that to someone who has served in the military along with her husband and childern? I'm sure your brother would be very disappointed with that comment you made. |

uh right out of 'a few good men'..kiefer sutherland..yesh[/QUOTE] No, the movie actually got it from Marines who have been saying it much longer than the movie has been out. It is not the other way around. This is the country I live in, where people think the actual people fighting the wars are getting their words from make believe movie people. yesh. You can't really be that clueless. |

Members of the military and veterans always joke with other branches of the military. There is a rivalry between all the groups. You probably wouldn't understand that because you have probably never served your country. |

You were in the Navy, so you know many of you don't like the Marines, and many Marines don't like you squids. Marines of course don't like being told they are part of the Navy, even though it is true. |

http://www.derbytrail.com/forums/sho...4&postcount=28 How brilliant was I for calling the sub-prime crisis months in advance. I am the first to admit I went ROTC more for money and my family than out of some love for my country, but I am glad to serve my country, and I am glad my family has also served my country. Unfortunately we now live in a country of idiots that love to send people to go free crazy religious people in countries like Iraq, but all those people that love to use our military to change the world never actually join the military. As for you not buying any of it, that is probably because you are one of those patriotic americans that just never seemed to find the time to join the military. I deal with people like you at school every single day. The types that tell you how great it is that I am serving my country, but it isn't so great that they would do it themselves. |

btw: once you get in, stfu and do what you're told jarhead.
no one cares about the opinion of some newly minted 2nd lew much less a snot faced college kid wanna be 2nd lew. jesus you sound retarded throwing around your military commitment before you've actually done anything. jackass. |

What an idiot you are. Let me guess. You are either Jewish or a Muslim and you get offended because people like me expose the religious wackos for what they are. Just to let you know, I expose Christian wackos too, and think all religious groups in America should pay taxes. So which is it. Are you an overly sensitive Jew or Muslim? Nothing makes me happier knowing my tax dollar goes to those wackos instead of buying body armor for other young americans fighting wars for crazy arabs. |

I actually wear a uniform of the US Army one day a week. I actually get sent off to fight real wars, not the make believe one idiots like you watch on tv. You are one of those idiots that probably never did anything for your country. |
