Of course, right in trying to beat Filimbi and use the wrong horse. Rusty Arnold, Leparoux and Centre Court, what a triumverate of losers.

pointman 08-23-2014 03:03 PM

I knew by the first turn the 7 was done. Was Rosario so afraid of the 6 not to use his horses speed to get the top?

Anything out of the Arnold barn is an auto toss for me. After years of seeing his horses, many of whom run up the track, the most confident tosses at Saratoga for me are Arnold horses.

She was washed out like crazy. Should've gone deeper in trying to beat her. Not smart.

Anyone else in the BCQualify contest today?

I am a little pissed at myself as I was a bit concerned about the 7 getting the lead, I went back and forth between using the 3 or 7 in the doubles and singling either the 3 or 7 on the second ticket. As I am prone to do, I picked the wrong one.

Dammit Johnny!!!!!! I needed that one . Seems like the horses are having to carry me stupid for not having ex just figured 7 would win. Dammit

He'd much rather be on the golf course.

I have just seen one after another look terrific on paper at Saratoga and run up the track. He may beat me once, but I will consistently beat his over bet horses at Saratoga. I got suckered by them a few years ago and now I have learned. Easiest decision for me to make at the meet.

I am not, I find that on these big days trying to play in a contest overwhelms me since I rarely get an opportunity to handicap the day before the card and I end up suffering in the contest and my wagering.

Not just Saratoga, toss period IMO.

I agree, I have been finding that at Keeneland the same angle is pretty darn effective. It has gotten to the point that once I see the horse is trained by Arnold I just go to the next horse in the PP's and don't waste my time evaluating the horse's actual chances.
