I cannot see any reason to go top 10. I don't think there are 10 good teams. This year is horrible.
1. Alabama 2. Texas 3. Miami 4. USC 5. Florida 6. Oregon 7. Oklahoma 8. Georgia Tech 9. Virginia Tech 10. TCU I know, crazy for having Oklahoma that high but they've lost three really tough games to good teams and haven't been close to full strength. I really think that they are a good team and with a healthy Bradford, they are one of the best teams. I think they'd probably be #1 or #2 right now and undefeated if he doesn't get hurt. |

Boise beat a better team than Oklahoma, which currently sits atop the Pac-10 and unless USC gets a little better in a week will likely end the season there, too. I know the rest of their schedule sucks but that really isn't their fault, no one will schedule them. Cincinnati is a tougher defense schedulewise because they've played a bunch of decent-but-not-great teams but I know what I see- they are absolutely pounding people and won't lose before the bowls if Pike is back OK. |

And this is the problem with rankings. Results of the games mean less than the opinion of the ranker. |
