I was only kidding ,Dahler......don't hate me.

As an aside, someone the other day brought something to mind that I hadn't ever considered. Scottie Pippen took the Bulls further without MJ than MJ ever took them without Pippen. I found that kind of interesting.

You find a lot of meaningless things interesting, I'm guessing.

You can say the same thing about Phil Jackson with the both of them but I know how you feel about that.

King Glorious 06-05-2011 06:03 PM

Glad to have helped ateam.

King Glorious 06-05-2011 08:25 PM

Are you sure about that Dalakhani? The furthest the Bulls got with Phil and no Jordan was the second round. The furthest the Bulls went with Jordan and no Phil was the conference finals wasn't it?

I didn't mean strictly with the bulls. Phil has 5 titles without Jordan or pippen. Those guys have zero without Phil. The same is true for kobe bryant.

Big 4th quarter from Lebron.

He'll get his ring thanks to Wade, the best player on his team.

Truer words have never been spoken. You watch Dirk, struggling so hard to find buckets for his team because he's the only one who can do it, then you watch LeBron, running away from the paint and passing the ball to Wade and Bosh to score because they're the only ones who can do it, and you think, best player in the world?

King Glorious 06-05-2011 10:01 PM

Well I knew that much. That's why I only said with the Bulls. I knew Pippen had even made it to a conference final with Portland. I respect Jackson but I just believe that he is the ultimate opportunist. I like to call him the Mariano Rivera of coaches. He's a closer. Doug Collins built those Bulls up and I believe they were ready to take that next step. They had to learn. Same with Del Harris and the Lakers. To me, Phil could only win with two superstars. When he only had one, he lost with both teams. He also lost with two in LA. Great button pusher/motivator. Average coach to me. Given equal talent to work with, there are a lot of guys I'd take before him.

Did you even watch any second of the Miami/Chicago series?? Great passing is a skill possessed by LeBron regardless of how much anyone likes him. I think the pass to Bosh for the last basket made is a play you want one of your players to make. That is called a winning basketball play. He made it. Call me crazy.

ateamstupid 06-05-2011 10:35 PM

What he did against Chicago was nice. This is the Finals, and he's contributed next to nothing offensively in the fourth quarters of the two biggest games.

This is kind of petty. Is passing not a skill? If the guy took the shots you would call him selfish or stupid for not getting the ball to the guys who were hot.

Game 1 is the most meaningless game in a 7-game series. And Chuck, don't tell me he's the best player in the world when he's getting carried by a teammate late in these games.

knickslions2 06-06-2011 12:24 PM

How big was that half court heave 3 pointer Chalmers made at half time? It was back court violation that wasn't called.

C'mon this is weak. It's Dwayne freakin Wade, not John Starks. Probably the 2nd or 3rd best scorer in the world. You are holding him to a standard that cant possibly be met because you don't like him. I was never a fan of Larry Bird but I respected his game.
