He gets up like that because he objected to the way Haywood pushed him while he was in mid air. He's not showing anyone up. He's not banging his chest...he's not screaming. He knows he's good and doesn't need everyone else to know it also. |
This is really pointless. You don't like the guy. That's your right. There's no need for me to try to make an argument to get you to like a guy or for you to tell me why I shouldn't when neither of us know him and whether we like him or not is irrelevant. Either way, he's still the best player in the world.

Kobe Bryant has 5 rings. LeBron 0.
There is not such thing as "Best" with no ships. |
I didn't realize the best player in the world completely vanishes and handcuffs his team's offense with terrible shots and doesn't volunteer to guard the other team's best player while his team is blowing a 15-point lead in an essential closeout game in the Finals.
Wait wait, I know, "he wasn't the only one that disappeared." Yeah, but he's the Messiah, he's the best player in the world, so it's up to him to squash that comeback and he completely shriveled up. Imagine a Jordan-led Bulls team giving up that kind of lead in a Finals game. Keep him out of the paint and he'll eventually go back to being LeBrick. The best player in the world who you can play off of with confidence. I guess he needs more help, he can't do it alone! |

Robert Horry-7 Karl Malone-0 John Stockton-0 Jerry West-1 Oscar Robertson-1 Elgin Baylor-0 Wilt Chamberlain-2 Charles Barkley-0 Robertson and West got theirs at the end of their careers. I guess they were nothing players until the end. I guess Bob Cousy was the best point guard in history. Better than Magic, Stockton, Thomas, Kidd. Best ever. Championships won is a horrible way to compare players in a team game. |

LeBron has been very good these playoffs in 2011 despite what happened game 2 of the finals. That's not really debatable. I don't watch the games that closely or re-watch them after the fact to see what happened. I can't say if what happened the last 7 minutes was Dallas finally turning up the heat on defense forcing the Heat into the LeBron dribble out the shot clock offense which unfortunately I saw happen a lot in Cleveland in post season or if LeBron was totally at fault. I would have to think Dallas perhaps had a lot to do with what happened, as to be in the finals they have to be at least a somewhat effective team you would think. |
Goddamity!!
I'm sick of this King backing The King nonsense. You were getting a little mouthy there, too,Dahla. I am not afraid to kick you again. James is nothing more than an extraordinarily talented extraordinarily narcissistic fool . And this O'brien nut placated him for years and that helped no one.So he skeedaddled.....in a way no one else would. He cries all the time, feigns injuries, will trash a coach who played to him for about 5 years....and then after they are both gone he will make ''gentlemanly comments "about Brown. That is the personification of James. And he quit his team, coaches and fans ...at home....in a playoff game. All because he didn't like Brown's strategy. He may have been catered to at a very young age...but how many years does it take until you look at yourself in relation to the rest of the world and what is going in within? It isn't written that the "catered to at a young age" is a license to be a friggin' ass.hole the rest of your life. Plenty of players do not like him.Ask Kevin Garnett for one. |

Gilbert messed it up by catering to the fool which is why they fired Brown who I guess is good enough for LA. He could have done the manly thing and told gilbert in private after game 6 against Boston he wasn't coming back and been done with it. He wanted the big game in people coming after him Clev included. This is why Clev hates him. We'd hate him anyway if he left but not to the extent it is.

Lebron, in my opinion, never will be the scorer that Kobe has been. He will never be the same "force" offensively. His lateral quickness, his end to end speed with and without the ball, his ball handling just aren't what Kobe's were. I think Lebron can do more things. I think Lebron can "get his" more in the flow of an offense. I think Lebron is the better playmaker and I would put him in the top tier in the league in passing. I think Lebron is the better rebounder. I think Lebron helps better and plays passing lanes better than kobe although I think kobe was a better lock down guy. I think kobe is a superior shooter from low post, mid range and three. Lebron takes it to the basket much stronger. If you took Lebron 2005-2010 and put him on those 3 championships teams with shaq, I find it hard to believe that the Lakers wouldn't have still won those three rings. The last two years? I think that is certainly up for debate. We did see the success that kobe had when he was playing with mediocre talents around him. The west was certainly much tougher those years than most of the years that Lebron was with cleveland but Kobe never even sniffed the conference final. Did they even win a round? Compare that to what Magic made the final with in 92 or what Lebron made it with in cleveland. Despite the contempt I have for Lebron in regards to his whining on every violation and his classless "decision", I do respect that with or without a title, he is the best of his era and certainly an all time great. |
