I think the direct quote was that she hadn't been on vacation in over 2 years and I was going to gamble in Florida with a bunch of morons and David Wells for 3 days. I'm not sure how she found out or who she was actually calling a moron, but the net was cast kind of far. Although I was kind of impressed she knew who David Wells was. After the fact, I found out I'm going to St Louis on business, the Saturday before so I'm pretty sure my crap would be on the lawn by the time I came back from Tampa if I went.

I do have a Hail Mary, but that's all it is a wing and a prayer.

While I know this has gone on during prior gatherings I figured we have all matured over the past few years. I thought this trip was about looking at pretty horses, taking a few pictures, maybe heading to the beach to see the sunset followed by quiet relaxing dinner and strict 10 pm curfew. Need to be well rested for the following day. If this is not the case, I may need to re-consider my attendance.
