Fund raising site for Jeff Bauman, from the wheelchair photo with Carlos Arrendondo, (the equally tragic Costa Rican native who lost the one son in Iraq and the second to suicide).

Bauman apparently helped authorities identify the Tsarnaev Brothers.

thanks for the link, steve.

but, in that vein, everyone do be careful about donating. sadly, for every legitimate fundraiser, there are people out there who will set up fraudulent sites to try to get money. those people disgust me, so please do your due diligence on who to give to.

Is it finally over? I hope so and continue to pray for those families involved.

got him cornered....supposedly. seems at this point it may just be a question if they take him alive or dead. we're listening, driving to bull shoals for the wknd

Danzig 04-19-2013 07:41 PM

just heard 3 taken into custody during a search warrant execution related to the 2 bombers

Sightseek 04-19-2013 07:43 PM

Hopefully they are right, but they are saying he is in custody!

Danzig 04-19-2013 07:45 PM

round of applause, news that they have him in custody.....all on the radio

Danzig 04-19-2013 07:47 PM

just confirmed, good deal

Danzig 04-19-2013 07:48 PM

so glad they got him alive, hopefully they can get a lot of info

geeker2 04-19-2013 07:49 PM

the first thing they should do is water board him.

rpncaine 04-19-2013 07:50 PM

Show him the scene from Zero Dark Thirty and then ask him questions.

Danzig 04-19-2013 07:50 PM

no. any info from torture is suspect, just like a coerced confession. is it truth, or what the person thinks his interrogators want to hear?

Danzig 04-19-2013 07:57 PM

young, alone, no older brother calling the shots. he might tell them everything they want to know right off the bat

geeker2 04-19-2013 08:05 PM

Dirty Harry

What do you base that on? May be the silliest statement I have ever seen posted.

No way, knowing some of the things that have shown up on this board, that its the silliest statement ever.and i base it on everything I have ever read, seen or heard on the subject. Whether the subject was Elizabethan england and sir Francis Walsingham, or Cromwell and Henry the 8th, or modern times. At any rate, rest assured i didn't just make it up.
