Would be great if she went to Blame :)

Could it be anything else but Bernyatta at this point?

No decision to make, Jess Jackson bought her for Curlin, although after the first year, who knows? If he didn't send her to Curlin, it would be rather strange considering what he's said so far. Two Horses of the Year, not shabby. Steve Haskin talked about his list of the best physical specimens from the last decade, and Bernardini and Zenyatta were on top, but a few places down on each list there were Curlin and Rachel Alexandra.

TB Times: Help (pretend to) name the Bernardini-Zenyatta foal

http://www.thoroughbredtimes.com/bre...dini-foal.aspx

There's a naming contest for the Bernardini-Zenyatta foal by Thoroughbred Times. I'm sure there's virtually no shot of her offspring actually being named by the winner, but you never know, someone could submit a name other than Bernyatta or Zendini and the Mosses might faint from shock and pick it.

Winner gets a prize package of the Zenyatta commemorative issue and back Thoroughbred Times issues with her on the cover.

You certainly don't see that all that often.

Today's ad in the TDN by Lanes End announcing that Rachel is going to Curlin is both cute and amusing.

Well, now we know who will be favored in the BC Classic in 2015 and/or 2016 and will finish second. It's going to be interesting to see how, if it's a male and Moss keeps it, how they'll sneak him into all of the filly restricted races over and over again. And we can count him out of the Derby because, well, the Rockies will still be there.

Forgive me if this was already posted somewhere, but I didn't see it so here goes. I found it very interesting.

Seeing shades of Zenyatta in her half-sister
LEXINGTON, Ky. − As the Thoroughbred world speculates about what a Bernardini-Zenyatta foal might look like, there are a handful of people in the sport who already have an inkling.

This possible hint of things to come is named Eblouissante, and she is Zenyatta’s 2-year-old half-sister by Bernardini – the closest thing available to the mating cross Ann and Jerry Moss are planning for their reigning Horse of the Year.

The man behind Eblouissante’s pedigree is her breeder and owner, Eric Kronfeld, who also bred Zenyatta. The Mosses have not given many details about why they selected Bernardini for Zenyatta’s first mating, but Kronfeld’s logic for pairing Bernardini with Zenyatta’s dam, Vertigineux, might shed some light on the cross’s appeal.
