Yes. This year's results should have definitely been taken into consideration when they voted last year. Apparently the voters didn't have a "Go to the future" machine where they could have seen this year's races before voting.

I wonder what you were thinking when RA won up at Sar last year. Probably had to delete the "RA EXPOSED AGAIN" line from your post you were about to write....same thing must have happened after The Haskell as well.

What I don't get is the people who whined that Zenyatta got robbed last year think that this years races should be taken into account. Let it go. RA was the better horse last year. So far this year Zenyatta is the better horse.

And we will once again get to see Zenyatta beat a field of hopless horses back in So Cal at Hollywood next out. Real adventurous scheduling again by the Moss's. Apparently, unlike the rest of the racing world, they don't find it embarassing to run against 5 horse fields in So Cal.

Somehow I don't think you're gunna be able to cut it as a handicapper…

Btw, Cannon, you're wasting your time again. These RA lovers don't want to hear about the horrible to mediocre competition she faced last year. Like the misguided HotY voters, they just block it out … means nothing to them.

Unlike the universal agreement that Zenyatta's competition last year included 3 mules and a german shepard, there are some ardent RA fans who insist that Macho Again, Mailbu Prayer and Stone legacy are top class.

Pretty sure you're wrong about that. And she ran a 109 in the Woodward.

You just wanted to say that right? It must bother you when Smooth, FM and a select few didn't buy into this greatness tag?

BTW it was 107 unless they upgraded it at a later date which I wouldn't know about since I only sparingly use beyers anyway.

I'd take the 2 mules and german sheppard over those 3.

The filly just isnt cracking 11 and change 1/8ths like she was last year , she is getting slow fractions and cant accelerate off of them , sometimes when fillies run like she did last year and then get time off they just say the heck with it . Im not saying she didnt try today , what Im saying is her brilliance is not there.

i agree. I just dont see the point of retiring right now like a lot on this thread have said. If she could still be bred, then maybe there would be a point..

As long as there are people like yourself throwing away money into betting pools I will be fine. Thanks for your concern though.

Umm....who faced horrible competition last year? That is hilarious. Go back and look at the fields Zenyatta faced last year and then compare them to what RA faced. Then get back to me.

Otherwise keep on betting.........

Match up the Classic field and The Woodward, no one with half an ounce of reason could say these fields are of equal talent.

dont be a Riot.

If the Woodward was the only race Rachel ran in last year your point would still be bad.

Only thing is , one is still undefeated and one is not , despite the lack of competion for both.

What? You said she's going to get a 107 for this race, and I'm pretty sure you're wrong. And it was a 109.

Who's Riot? In the context of who is better which is all that anyone cares about, though I think that discussion is close to ending...maybe Riot is right.

neither were defeated last year, which is what we were discussing.

Rachel had been defeated before she even began her 3yo year..

I just dont get the Booth Operator and CSC hard on for Z's competition last year.

But than again, it is booth and CSC we're talking about here.

its will only end when the two horses face each other.

And Riot is just another word for "idiot"

Believe me, you are not a Riot. Not even close. Your buddy Booth is though.

You wanna know my Derby pick? You will have 19 out of 20 chances of telling me I'm wrong Saturday.

Frankly I am not bubbling with confidence with this crapshoot and anyone telling you they are is surely lying.

LOL … too funny … Z only whipped the best field assembled in NA last year.

One more jump and the Macho horse is by RA in the Woodward.

I've used words like mule, goat and rat before when describing some horses comp … but never "german shepard".
