It could be that Moss will issue a challenge to Jackson when he gives his speech. Perhaps he has been consulting with folks from pro wrestling on how to do it with proper effect.

Lips unsealed. They said she's still retired.

They are going to breed her to Unusual Heat.

Not exactly--they said " nothing has changed " ...

The writer headlined the story as " retired " ...

It is totally true though that the weather in KY is really cold ...

It is probably true that Steve Willard--Zenyatta's regular rider was injured ...

It is probably less true that Zenyatta had to be officially worked by a new rider, and " she went a little fast " ...

It is possible that the new rider could have simply galloped her, unless they did not want to miss a work ...

They are still being vague ...

If the over-hyped eastern filly gets HotY … they're gunna come after her…

Really not sure that it is that, but HOY decision MAY be a factor ...

I hear they are considering sending her across seas to be bred to Sea the Stars.

Talk about a priceless baby!

No chance they let her travel that far. Even if that was the plan, they'd likely scratch the day of the "meeting" because of the cold or something.

Priceless why it wouldn't be for sale? What makes you think she is going to be able to reproduce anything close to what she is.What makes you think Sea The Stars is going to be able to reproduce his brilliance? I figure they both will be somewhat of a disappointment...How can't they be look at the expectations. Go look at the winners of the Kentucky Oaks the last 15 years and let me now how many good never mind PRICELESS broodmares you find..

I wonder if it's possible that Moss and Jackson already have something lined up and the winner of the HOY will announce it next Monday.

There has to be something more behind risking injury to an extremely valuable mare by continuing to breeze her.

The only reason you would have for her not to be in a paddock by now is because you were leaving your options open, that doesnt mean she is a lock to race again but I would think its at least 50/50 she does.

With that being said, they should keep racing Zenyatta. Sooner or later RA and Z would have to meet and put an end to all this .

Check the '04 trifecta... Goulash (Ashado) & Sassy Pants (Madcap Escapade). Z's big sis was favored and dreadful in '05. Besides that, not so much.

The winners have been dreadful with a few hi lites sprinkled in. I have been told that many of the place and show hores in the Oaks have been very successful boddmares for an excellent source. I haven't check out if his statement is accurate but I believe him when he tells me something as I deem him extremely well versed on the subject, unlike a hack like myself.
