DT'ers have exhausted their money as she's drifting up from 2/1 and will end up third favorite!

caught a far-off shot, rene's kinda got her isolated and can tell they're starting to relax and settle down, looks very good... 3/1 at 2 mtp...

Antitrust32 09-11-2008 04:20 PM

ninetoone 09-11-2008 04:21 PM

ninetoone 09-11-2008 04:26 PM

Antitrust32 09-11-2008 04:27 PM

TheSpyder 09-11-2008 04:27 PM

SORRY - no no no she's [apparently] fine, but where is Mr. Velez when we needed him, damn...

Kasept 09-11-2008 04:29 PM

Oof.. Never involved. Much like her last start at Tampa.. Can only think immediately that she didn't care for the soft going.

yeah, she never looked comfortable to me. long as she's ok, all's good.

Riot 09-11-2008 04:41 PM

She was fighting with the jock all through the post parade, and ran with her head up like a periscope to the first turn. Perhaps too much of a self-opinionated girl today, combined with soft turf.

She looked great though, body-weight wise, has never looked better, shiny and dappled! Thanks,TC!

Many Others 09-11-2008 04:49 PM

yes watched the grainy replay with a little more objectivity - to be fair rene did save ground but even after got over to the rail can tell she was hell bent to do what she pleased by the way head was up - into RUNNING yes, uh controlled racing no lol..

sure hope she comes back okay, there's always the next time... and just checked the chart, yep she's still ours -

Just heard from Chuck who spoke to Douglas...

Rene said she seemed OK with the turf and was going well but was absolutely unresponsive when asked... He told Chuck she ran like she may have bled. It wasn't her day.

More later...

TC said that she was bouncing around the shed row after the race like she never even ran. She scoped clean and most likely didnt extend herslf on an unfamiliar surface. We will most likely try her back on the polytrack at Turfway on October 2nd in a 20000 nw3 going two turns.
