I've been a fan of horse racing since I first went to the track. None of my friends understand it. They went to the track with me once and acted like complete idiots, yelling out loud things that made no sense and almost making a mockery of it. First and last time I would ever go to the track with them.

I guess you either get horse racing or you don't.

nice with the 5 and 6. Tried pushing my win bet on the 6, and got the "betting for this race is closed" red message on twinspires. Would have continued a good day for me.

Thanks. I didn't play the race individually, frankly I thought 3-1 on the 6 was pretty mediocre, but hopefully I can get one of my horses home in the Pick-3.

43.1 for Quality Affair... Nice riding Lescano, burn him up early..

Need the 4,5, or 6 for a halfway decent double.

Tough odds to take, I agree. Then again, the cutback in distance pretty much insured against (the repeat of) an IDIOT ride.

(And, as it turned out, the ridiculous early fractions made it a perfect setup.)

blackthroatedwind 02-04-2008 05:54 PM

It would have been hard to eclipse the idiocy of her previous ride.
