NOw that neither team looked ahead to each other, this game on the 4th promises to be one for the ages. It just sucks that we're going to have to hear sooooo much about it on ESPN and whatnot all week. Congrats to the fans of both teams. You officially root for the two best teams, head and shoulders, in the league.

I'm not so much a Pats fan as I am a Moss fan.

It was a tough past two years......

I'm loyal to people and not orginizations.....

Though, really, I think it's fair to say Moss is more a God than a human.

Cannon Shell 10-28-2007 05:51 PM

Pats are a better team than Indy...

I'm not so sure of that, the good news is we will get to find out.

allow me to join the 'pats are better' crowd.
nothing new, i've been saying it since the season started. new england in rarified air. colts are good, but the pats a cut above.

Great avatar!! Did you happen to catch Brady appearing to apologize to Moss when he ran for a TD earlier, as opposed to throwing it to him. Randy was nice enough to give the "thumbs up", letting Brady off the hook. Are you that confident that the real Randy Moss (or the other Moss) won't show up at some point this season?

Danzig 10-28-2007 06:01 PM

i think aliens abducted randy moss.
seriously, it's amazing the turn around in his attitude. maybe he finally realized what an a-hole he was being.

but he does play up (or down) to the team he's on. i know brady took him under his wing when he got there, and i'd imagine also said don't embarass the hell out of us.
good to see. certainly makes it more enjoyable to see top talent without the rotten attitude.

Ok Mr. Cannon.

Andrew Jackson is anxious to know his destination.
I will PM you if that is OK.

I've watched the majority of his college games and virtually every single one of his pro games.

I don't think he's changed at all. I think the press did a spectacular job of making his attitude look like something it never was.

He never liked the press. Even in college, he would rarely talk to them.

He's always been a tremendously unselfish player. They made a big deal about his "I play when I want to play" quote and how he takes plays off.

No reciever sprints down the field and does any more running than he does in a game....and opposing defenders always talk about the ability he has to lull you asleep when he changes pace so much from play to play.

In many of the bombs he catches he doesn't always come off the line hard, but he explodes a few strides into the play.

On run plays to his opposite side he will basically do nothing. Every now and than they fake the run to the opposite side - he comes off the line flat and than explodes.

Belichick and Brady both say Moss is the "smartest wide reciever I've ever seen" for many of the on-field reasons media people knocked him for.

Even now, he's a mismatch for every defensive back in the game. And you have to focus your entire defense around stopping him. That's much easier to do when a team has a lousy O-line (the Pats dont) a lousy QB (the Pats don't) or a lousy playcaller (the Pats dont)

He will have a HUGE game against Indy - of that I have no doubt. He has always been spectacular in playoff games and important regular season games.

I'll take a stab.

Pats -4.5

I said between 3.5 and 6 and can't find it 'up' yet....Pats HAVE to be favored, have to be.

Coach Pants 10-28-2007 07:15 PM

I don't care about the matchup. The only thing I care about is Stallworth or Moss getting knocked out for the season. They can both go fuc|< themselves for taking pennies on the dollar to win a championship. The salary cap was implemented for a reason...to prevent bulls.hit like this.

F.uck those chowder eating bastards.

Cannon Shell 10-28-2007 07:15 PM

I'm thinking 5...Vegas has been getting killed by them.

The best part of the run other than Belichek running up the score every week is that they are seemingly using 6 or 7 different plays to do it. They have shown almost nothing new and it keeps working. I mean how many TD's does Vrabel have to score before someone guards him.

ninetoone 10-28-2007 07:20 PM

My stab: Pats by 6.5...

Mortimer 10-28-2007 09:42 PM

Colts minus 1

Danzig 10-28-2007 09:45 PM

it's colts + 4 1/2. i just looked it up.

Mortimer 10-28-2007 09:47 PM

If at any point this week it goes to Colts-1...I win.

Funny how "someone" didn't bother looking it up until I put in my fine work.
