I think not, KG.
I don't know how many games it takes...maybe even just 4 or 5...but I'll take the Bulls. |
..or not....

Premature ejaculation is never a good thing. I was reading all that people typed and I wondered did they see the Bulls against Indiana and Atlanta? They were very inconsistent in those two series' and showed a lot of weakness, weakness that those two teams weren't good enough to take advantage of but Miami is. Chicago relies so heavily on Rose and in order for them to win, he has to be spectacular every night, the clear best player on the court and I'm just not of the opinion that he's better than either James or Wade. He's a great player and he's going to do damage but Miami has the length and athleticsm with James and Wade to make him work really hard for it.

I think they've been much more consistent against better teams than Chicago has been. Miami played some close ones against Philly but my impression is that they were in control and just didn't put Philly away. I thought Indiana outplayed Chicago in at least three and maybe four of those games. I thought Atlanta did whatever they wanted to do and the reason they didn't win was because they are Atlanta, not because Chicago took it from them, except for the last game.
I think the Heat overreacted to Rose in game one and left shooters open when they didn't need to. I think from here on out, they will do a better job of staying on the shooters and boxing out on the boards and if that means that Rose gets to get free a little more in the lane, so be it. I think that with this team, you take the same rules you used to take against Jordan, Iverson, and Bryant and that is that you let them get 50 or 60 if they can but don't let others hurt you. Overall, I just don't think Chicago has the talent to beat Miami in a series. |
wow, what a bunch of tremendous over reaction to 1 game. So many burials of the Heat. The NBA playoffs change from game to game. Dont be so quick to crown your champions

Oh shut up...where were you before last nights game,Johnny Swift?

You are one of the few being every bit as dumb as you sound. |
Dallas got an incredible game from Dirk last time. Terry was very good and Barea gave them more than can normally be expected. The law of averages says that Dirk can't continue to shoot this well can he? I think he cools off a bit and OKC plays off him a little bit and (I can't believe I'm saying this) encourages him to shoot more instead of sending him to the line for automatic points. I think Westbrook plays better, hits some of those shots that he normally makes but missed in game one and I think OKC sneaks out with a win to tie this up.
