So in 2003 i should have gotten rid of High Chapparal, islington and six perfections?

Great point, ignore the Euros at your own risk IMO.

Ah, nothing like irrational, poorly thought out blanket commandments for an extremely nuanced 16-race event. At least he'll be gone until Derby time.

I can't believe anyone thinks this horse can hit the board. . . I don't really see a horse in here he should beat.

Smooth Air won't come in last...I'll bet on that if anybody wants some. :D

It's impossible for horses to breakdown on synthetics so you can't count on that to get him home second to last.

That's true, but does Desoremore have a mount he could pull up?

Fortunately not. Two mounts in nine BC races on Saturday, hilarious.

SniperSB23 10-24-2008 12:51 AM

I don't know what you guys are talking about. I came on here tonight solely for this thread and Seattleallstar's BC Friday selections.

Daytona....Daytona....Daytona!!!

Honorable mention to Delightful Kiss should above scratch...

Am I missing something in the Juvy? Doesn't Bushranger crush these if he takes to the surface?

Pure sprinter, so much so that they aren't even booking future prices on him next year in Europe for the Classics. That being said, he is my pick. There is no pace here and if it turns into a 4 furlong jog followed by a 4.5 furlong sprint he should crush this field.

I still haven't settled on anyone, yet. But I'm still looking forward to being there Friday morning.

I have to admit it will be a guess on the "dirt" races. However, we still have all the great turf races to bet. When they change that to "Astro-turf," that's when I'll give up handicapping. :wf (not really) :D

My best friends dad died the night before BC day, the year that Skip Away won the Classic....He wasnt going to go to the races, but i urged him to go.
We hit the pik 6 that day...
I guess we had a little help from above.

That group of Euros was so much better than the group coming over for the turf races this year, it's not even funny.

This is nuts,,,,,,,,,,,,,, putting Cal based horses against the world because of the 90'/52' weather, over Class and Ability???????????????

I love pari-mutual wagering.

yea all you have to do is go back to the last BC at Santa Anita when is was even hotter. The Euros stunk up the place. Arcangues and Kotashan come to mind.
