Doesnt matter why. He needs to make a point or it wont stop. Hell even Dr J and Larry Bird got into it once upon a time

Hes cupcake soft. Jermaine Oneal is like 36 and punked him in the locker room after the game. Reports say Blake was almost in tears saying leave that **** on the court.

The NBA's full of fake tough guys. Two who aren't...off the top of my head would be Zach Randolph and Matt Barnes.

Charles Oakley and Anthony Mason would've thrown these dudes around like Razor Ramon's toothpicks!

"There's a lot of bluffing going on on the court, that's all, and I don't bluff." - Zach Randolph after him and Perkins got into it.

And before that Rick Mahorn would've done the same...the game seems a lot different now. Would've loved to see Mahorn play back in his prime.

Mahorn and Laimbeer had their battle royales! The game has certainly changed since. Currently more talent, less grit, if you ask me.

Jeff Ruland and Mahorn
McFilthy and McNasty

cmorioles 03-14-2014 06:30 PM

People like to fondly remember the past, but that was some ugly damn basketball played back in the days when Riley and Daly were coaching the Knicks and Pistons. Sure, they were tougher, but the game was very hard to watch.

They were dubbed the Bruise Brothers as well. Sadly, the Bullets still weren't very good with them together, mediocre at best.

They were no Elvin Hayes and Wes Unseld

Not even close, I grew up watching Wes and The Big E on fuzzy Channel 20 from DC.

What is worse, I still remember the words, at least a lot of them!

Cannon Shell 03-17-2014 07:53 PM

Sixers getting 19 only down 2 with 2 mins left in 3rd. Indiana is very sluggish

RockHardTen1985 03-18-2014 07:24 PM

By his standards Lebron has played like **** since his 61 point game, by everyone else, w/ the exception of maybe KD he has been in a minor slump but still playing at an all star level. 31 first half points in Clevland tonight.

Cannon Shell 03-19-2014 12:34 PM

Atlanta's win last night officially eliminated the Sixers from the playoffs.

Which means they will beat the Bulls tonight

I dont think the Sixers could beat the South Florida Bulls let alone the Chicago version.

As a Bulls fan you have to love having Joakim Noah on your team. He goes 100% every night.

RockHardTen1985 03-19-2014 07:37 PM

Ugly basketball being played in NY right now, both teams look like ****.

Turning into a good game. Hopefully Amare can stay healthy and have a long career somewhere being a jump shooter. He is playing well right now.

Good win for ny. Nice to see a healthy team.

Duvalier 03-21-2014 09:49 AM

Some fantastic Western Conference playoff matchups for the first round if the standings end up like they are today:

2 Oklahoma City vs. 7 Memphis

3 LA Clippers vs. 6 Golden State

4 Houston vs. 5 Portland

RockHardTen1985 03-21-2014 09:14 PM

Lots of good stuff going on tonight.
Durant's a monster tonight.
Lebron played crappy again, but hit 2 big shots late to help Miami beat a decent team.
I really really hope Amare stays healthy. Hes playing great and has been through a lot.

RockHardTen1985 03-21-2014 09:24 PM

I have an opinion/question.... Hoping some of you guys chime in.
Jabari Parker, what do you guys think of?
I watched at least 15 of Dukes games this year. I dont see it with him. I dont see a superstar or even an all star. Just off the top of my head I would take Exum, Randall, Wiggins, Embiid, Gordon and I would strongly consider Mcdermott over him. I just dont see what he does well, whats is he really good at? And hes not super athletic so that will only hurt him at the next level. I see a bust of epic proportions if he goes top 3.

Duvalier 03-22-2014 09:24 PM

How good has Anthony Davis been for the Pelicans in March? The improvement he's shown the last half of this season is scary.

Starting to think he is a guy you could build a title contending team around, but they have a long way to go.

They do have a long way to go, but Davis looks like he can become one of the best players in the league in the very near future. Now it's up to the Pelicans to start putting the right players around him if they want to turn themselves into a legitimate playoff team.

Duvalier 03-25-2014 10:19 PM

The ship be sinking...

Duvalier 04-06-2014 06:17 PM

Hawks 55 - Pacers 23 at the half.

Immanuel Kant 04-07-2014 08:50 AM

Watching the Pacer implosion has been one of the most bizarre events I have seen in a very long time of viewing the NBA

Right now that 3rd seed in the East is geting important as you would face Washington then Pacers vs Broolyn and Heat. Got to believe Indiana will get it turned around though

knickslions2 04-07-2014 09:34 AM

Interesting fact for you gamblers

The Pacers are 4-25-1 against the spread over last 30 games. Wow

I think it's a combination of Paul George's personal problems and chemistry problems since Turner was brought in. Watching the Pacers you can tell certain players don't get along at all.

King Glorious 04-14-2014 03:56 PM

You are James, Wade, or Bosh. Pat Riley comes to you and says if all three of you pot out and re-sign for $10 million, I can get Pau Gasol or Carmelo Anthony in here. What do you say?

Wade and Bosh should be a slam dunk yes. Its a shame whats happening with Wade. If healthy, right now still he is a top 5 players. Bosh might be 22-10 somewhere else, but he is still soft and moist and wants to bomb 3's and not play inside. I think if they win it this year, they stay together. If Wade cant play or they just get beat straight up I think Lebron leaves. We shall see.
