You hate abortion? So does Barr. Only one problem...His ex wife had one in 1983. Oh, just so that we are not mistaken, he was still married to her at the time.

Love the patriot act? So did Barr. Uhhhh...at least he did when he was a republican. Now he hates it.

War in Iraq? Barr supported it as well. Now? No longer a republican, he has changed the sheet music there as well.

Defender of marriage? Yes, he defends it. He is only on number 3 and it has been proven that he cheated on the others.

End the War on drugs? That is the most laughable thing I have read. That would be akin to General Westmoreland becoming a hippie during the Viet Nam war.

LOL

i agree. but if he is a muslim, then why all the effort to deny it? i think it was just a slip. but i always try to give benefit of the doubt anyway. what your religion is shouldn't matter. honesty on the other hand.....lol probably asking for too much from a pol in that matter.

i think mccain stammered on it a bit because not only is he NOT the one who's loaded (his wife is) but who knows how many properties she owns for investing-i'd imagine he'd rather say i'll find out then guess and be wrong. big deal, he has multiple homes-so do my parents. they have a beach house, the elitist bastards.

i'd rather religion didn't come into it-we're supposed to have separation of church and state, but so many are all about the candidates religion. bush thinks god told him to attack iraq. our middle east policy is predicated on the belief that israel is the chosen land, and if it falls the world will end. oh yeah, humans are definitely the intelligent species.

It's the only reason I wouldn't vote for him. I'm not ever gunna vote for an admitted Muslim. So, prove he is a Muslim. Actually, you're right. About 5 states aren't already spoken for. That's the "beauty" of the Electoral College. Your vote rarely matters.

WASPS all except Kennedy.
Sex should not matter either madam President.
But it does, a whole bunch.

Muslim Pakistan even had a woman leader.

So who is in the dark ages here...

So you wont vote because California is solidly Obama?

I have gone against the wish of Texas on a few occasions.
I might take the plunge again. We will see.

No, I just know what they believe, and I am never gunna vote for anybody that believes in treating women like farm animals. That's the way their prophet said to treat their women. They are free to follow that religion, but I won't ever vote for anyone that follows that religion.

I just read through this insanity fresh...wtf are we going to be doing two days before the election? I thought the pre-Derby crap was insane.

i thought only the more radical muslims were into that garbage. you know, kind of like the guys around here who quote bible verse to explain why women can't run anything...teach bible school, etc.
some guy wrote a letter to the paper not long ago bashing women for 'wearing mens clothing, and makeup-they look like a bunch of jezebels'. i always picture said writer chewing on a big old plug of red man when they're talking.

stop being f'in sheep. an 11 second hacked up video is no reason to decide how you vote. you should be laughing at the ineptness of the people trying to pull this shite. not seriously discussing it's impact on an election.

i'd hate to think what goebbles and weismuller would have you believing.

funny, I view Obama followers as the ones that resemble sheep. there is simply nothing of substance there. his greatest accomplishments are his presidential campaign and reading speeches.

the only argument that I see people use that want to support Obama is that George Bush was a bad president. sorry but i need a better reason than that.

Jim....everyone is a sheep here. Pillow likes some dude no one has heard of, you like anyone but Obama, Mike likes Obama...If I voted for Gore and Kerry and I'm voting for Obama you can bet it's not because it's not because GDUB was a nightmare...it's a little late for that

What exactly had GW done when you voted for him?
What did you see in George Bush?

The Governor of the state of Texas... you dont do much of anything.
The Lt. Governor does, and the Speaker of the House. But not the
Governor. Now his dad had some experience.

Dick Cheney should run...
he has got more experience than anyone, and the Republicans would
spend 4 years on the sidelines.

you started this asinine thread with the chopped up video and now you want to discuss something of substance?

stop posting propaganda. that'll go a long way toward increasing your credibility when you want to have an intelligent discussion.

No, pretty much the TURKISH MUSLIMS would be the so called "moderate Muslims," and they rap their women up in headgear. Can't be too pretty. They almost got kicked out of the presidency by their supreme court, because they couldn't resist fiddling around with a law about this headgear for women.

Tabari IX:113 "Allah permits you to shut them in separate rooms and to beat them, but not severely. If they abstain, they have the right to food and clothing. Treat women well for they are like domestic animals and they possess nothing themselves. Allah has made the enjoyment of their bodies lawful in his Qur'an."

Sorry, but I am not going to have anything to do with someone who follows the teachings of the guy who said this. Not gunna happen.

McCain/Palin make a big move in the polls. they now lead Obama/Biden 54%/44% amongst likely voters according to USA/Gallop.

In a related story, MSNBC just went to Def Con 4.

See now this is exactly what Olberman would say
about Fox and I would laugh as I am now.

dalakhani 09-07-2008 09:00 PM

Actually, in the poll of polls, Obama still leads...as if it matters to the Bush idiots.

Kansas went from being 60% McCain to 70% McCain. Oklahoma is now probably pushing 75% McCaine. If you have polls about Ohio, Colorado, Nevada, Virginia, New Hampshire, then that would be important.

You should read how he first got elected as a representative to
the State of Illinois. This is really interesting. The guy is a killer
politician.
