He may be the best athlete in the draft. But he is a tweener
because of lack of ball skills. I dont think you can just make
a guy into a PG. It is almost like taking a baseball pitcher and turning
him into a QB.
He is gonna have to be a two.

No way. Give him the ball and he will do fine. There is very little on the point pressure in the NBA. There are no zone traps. With the team they have they will be pushing the ball which is his strength. He can develop with the team. If he were going to a playoff team i would be worried but the guy has tremendous athlietic skills. very tough defender.

I would not go that far.
But they really have a lot of upside.
They should be a lot of fun to watch.

Aldridge actually might be their best player.
The guy has continually improved. He is turning
into a level headed Rasheed with less range.

Roy is a really good player.

Chalmers is still left. Let him stay pleasssse.

I admit i didnt see the Nevada guy play but Arthur is a better player than Hickson

He is indeed. I think he got injured, so he kind of hid at
the end of the season.

Did Sumitas spike your drink? They are 2 years away from being a serious team. Rookie point guards dont win championships. Plus they lack depth in the frontcourt. Oden has yet to play a game so he is really still a rookie. Jack was a key guy for them.

touche'

I dont like seeing the major scorers getting worn down having to
handle the ball too much. Lebron, Kobe... Gotta be able to set up
your stars.

they may be an 8 seed or 7 depending on Golden State self destructing.

I'm sure Kobe and leBron will appreciate the olympic roster of PG's after what they have been through the last few years

Dear PG1985,
Jay Bilas just said Kosta Stifoulous has a chance to be "special". Remember what i said about him liking everybody?

Of course who didnt see Utah drafting a white guy....

Cannon Shell 06-26-2008 08:45 PM

Of course Tyler Hansbrough wasnt available yet...

The Indomitable DrugS 06-26-2008 08:46 PM

You're right - I forgot OJ Mayo was coming out early.

I'm trolling as IMUS.

Gotta bring in the Mormons.
Thank God Malone drove an 18-wheeler or they would have hated him.

He cant really come on and say they s uck.
The teams have reasons for drafting them,
he just restates this.

At some point you gotta say that somebaody simply isnt that good. The amount of guys that are called "special" players on draft day that are called stiffs a few months later is alot.

i have been saying none of them are that good...weak draft overall

bayliss to portland is huge, trust me on this one....HUGE

pgardn 06-26-2008 08:58 PM

He could say something like he has limited skills. Calling a guy who has like zero chance of being a 10 and 5 guy, special is a joke.

I'll answer that. If he stays uninjured, he will be the rookie
of the year. He has to be able to get numbers on that bad team.
And thats what its about, numbers.
