Did not see the race.
Can anyone describe how it was run. Was Sumwon on the lead and tired???

Broke alertly and took the lead by 1 length, lead most of the race got caught at the 1/8th pole finished well:) :) lost by 1 1/2 but finished 3-4 lengths ahead of show horse. Nice payouts too!

Had every reason to quit setting tough fractions but fought and was well clear of 3rd and not far from winning.

Was watching her warm up on the track feed and Willie really had her stretching her legs, add that to Sumwon looking the picture of health knew there'd be a good effort today - added bonus going off at 10/1, $2 exacta in a 6-horse field paid $74.80, will take it lol...

She was on the lead set fraction in the 23 & 45 range (sorry, I'm still shaking in excitement :D ) dug in gamely down the stretch when passed and finished about 3 ahead of the 3rd place horse.

Looks like the filly can run!

That's exciting, very happy to see she improved greatly off her last. Couldn't watch the race anywhere. Congrats to Chuck and all who have worked so hard with Sumwon.

23.1, 46.0, 111.0, 136.1 Ran very well on the lead till about the 1/16th and finished well across the line down by a length (didn't see the runout)

the filly just loves to run, not a quitter - hearing those fractions gave me a moment but she didn't throw in the towel - again, very game effort... thank you to our Manager, Chuck and all the barn connections for all you do!!

She didn't quit, right there at the wire. The 2 had a golden inside trip. Her pace figures in her previous race were very good and I am sure they will be even better today. This is a great sign for future improvement :)

i was yelling come back, come back--she tried to fight back on the winner, she's game! oh man--my poor kids are going to have to deal with me the rest of the day....

She did look great on CJ's figs ZAF!!! New pace top last out...cutback in distance= BIG cash today baby!:D

After that type of effort, don't know if I'd be too anxious to take her off dirt!! Again, I applaud Chuck for his tremendous work with her.

Now am watching the replay - Willie sure did a nice job of getting her to relax, all of Chuck's training was really showcased today - can't wait to hear trip reports from all of those who were there live, uh bet there was a bunch of noise wherever they were standing - give that filly some peppermints!!! Self has to go lie down now lol...

If you think about it she was supposed to have been outclassed by that field but only one horse beat her with a golden trip, and SumWon was actually from my view coming back at the winner at the wire. she did not fade or quit. She was beaten by a horse that was a little better today.

The rest of the field was soundly beaten. I think the one turn route is ideal for her.

GREAT Second!!! That was very exciting and encouraging.

Hats off to Chuck. Glad he finally gets paid a bit for doing such a great job with her.

I'm emotionally and physically exhausted. What a thrilling race. I was actually pushing her along on the tv screen hoping she'd retake the lead. But, she was awesome and looked B*E*A*U*T*I*F*U*L. I am so pleased.

Thanks Chuck and Steve and everyone involved in gettin *our* girl into the race today.

Wow, what a thrill. I was at Suffolk Downs cheering her down the stretch. She looked fantastic, great muscle tone and seemed to be calm, cool and collected. She did seem to dig in and try to catch the 2 horse. Great effort. I experienced tears of joy, the wizened guys around me thought there was something wrong with me until I told them that the 1 was "my" horse.

Thanks Chuck and Steve for giving me this opportunity to have my heart soar with happiness!

we were at an OTB in Pa. surrounded by oldsters. i jumped up in the stretch run and they thought i was NUTS!!
a few minutes after the race we PROUDLY told them #1 was "our" girl !
my hand are still shaking, what a great day!
we can never thank steve and chuck enough !!:D
